Stopped at various premier inns and just like the rest it is to a high standard ,with good happy helpful staff if you need help or have any problems they do there best to help.Breakfast good as always , a pleasant happy safe place to stay in London,it's a ten minute walk to the nearest tube but if you have had a long day or just want to take it easy a good bus service stops outside the hotel.

We stayed here the night of Christmas Day/Boxing Day. The family room was plenty big enough for the 3 of us (myself, wife and son) and everything in the room and bathroom was clean and working fine. Our room was 1st floor and rear facing so we got a good view of the Shard but there was some external noise from air conditioning fans (?). All 3 of us get too hot with synthetic fibre bedding, so it would have been nice to have the option of feather pillows with cotton covers and blankets rather than duvets, but this a minor quibble.

What was really good was price - only £89 for the 3 of us! In 2012 we stayed at the Tower Hotel with a fantastic view of Tower Bridge but this Christmas they wanted over £200 for a family room, so really there was no contest.

I can't comment on the restaurant and bar as our relatives who live nearby fed us.

Thank you very much for reviewing your stay with us. I am very happy that you had a comfortable stay and found us to great value you for money.

Unfortunately, as a brand we don’t offer blankets but we would have gladly provided a top sheet for your comfort.

Many thanks again and hope to welcoming you again soon.

Kind regards,
Ryan

This is the first time that our family have spent new years celebrations in London - but have used this hotel a number of times over the past couple of years - the staff here are very knowledgeable and in the main very friendly - the quality of and choice good these being the reason we returned. On this trip there were some negatives - the water pressure was poor and the shower reflected this - the air conditioning / heater did not seem to work all of the time - but the main concern was the bed - three poor nights sleep in a bed that was very uncomfortable to say the least - i was pleased to get home for a rest. In the past i have booked without hesitation but will look around for alternatives before making a final choice.

We stayed here for a couple of nights over new year. I think it's recently been refurbished or they're in the process of updating all the rooms so ours was sparkling new - brand new bathroom etc. Everything as we always expect from premier inn - comfy bed with choice of firm or soft pillow, great value breakfast, friendly staff etc

Wasn't the best location we've stayed in - but as we made a rather last minute decision to visit london for the new year it was one of only a few available. It actually turned out to be handy for getting back from watching the fireworks as we weren't planning to queue for the tube but it is a little bit of a trek from the nearest tube (london bridge, 15mins) and there isn't a great range if pubs/restaurants very close by.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay. We are indeed undergoing a full hotel refurbishment and I am happy that you liked the “New Premier Inn style” rooms.

I am equally happy that my teams service was on the mark and our all you can eat breakfast offerings was value you for money.

Many thanks again and we look forward to your next visit.

Kind regards,
Ryan
