A good clean quality hotel within easy access of the tourist centre. Room, although facing the road, was very quiet and the air conditioning worked well. Condition of the hotel was up to the Premier Inn good standard. Will stay again when I am in the area.

My daughter picked this hotel for our family weekend in London in August 2014, she stated that it was the cheapest in the Premier Inn group for London, as it was probably the furthest from a tube station than any other hotel in the London chain. If your young children have difficulty walking I would suggest a buggie would come in very handy as ours got fed up of the walk to Tower Hill Tube Station, a 15-20 minutes walk away, after a couple of times.
Having said that, it is ideally situated for walks along the lovely restored South Bank with all it's Restaurants, Bars, HMS Belfast, the Golden Hind,Shakespeare's Globe, the Shard, and of course the London Eye.
The Hotel is very clean, and comfortable. We stayed in a family room (2 adults, 2 children) for three nights, and the only criticism I have is that there was very little room for your clothes, hence you tend to live out of your suitcase for the whole duration of your visit. Having said that we were fortunate enough to get a room which looked out onto the Shard, which was quite spectacular, especially at night when lit up. My daughter's room on the other hand faced onto a brick wall, o well such is life!
The staff at the hotel were excellent, especially in the restaurant, as the youngest members of our family were messy eaters and left a mess under their table, after we had apologized the staff were really understanding (whilst handing us the brush and pan) only joking, they were brilliant.
The breakfast at the Hotel was £10, which I suppose is about the standard rate for London, but the good thing for families is that the kids eat free, which makes the £10 deal good value. The breakfast was a help yourself to as much a you required, and was of a good quality.
If you are doing London on a budget as most of us are, there is a Co-op just across the road from the hotel which came in very handy for lunch requirements.
Overall I would rate this hotel highly, for location, quality, food, excellent staff, and value for money.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 1st floor but not at the front of the hotel, so we didn't get any traffic noise...

Thank you for taking your time to write us a review on Trip Advisor it is really appreciated. The closest train station to us is London Bridge station, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from us, just so you know for future reference. But great advice about the buggies!

We are happy to know that you were pleased with the hotel facilities, as we aim to make sure that the guest’s are provided with anything they may need. I can understand you felt there was not enough space for you to put your clothes away we apologise for this and shall take your feedback into account. It is great to know you were given a room with a lovely view.

I am thrilled to know the team made sure you had a good experience in the restaurant and its good to know that the children felt comfortable, that’s the main thing.

I am more than happy to know you had an overall good stay with us and hopefully come and stay with us again soon.

Kind Regards,

Nikita

My daughter (7) and I stayed here for 2 nights. We had a fantastic time. 10 min walk to tube station. Close to Tower of London. On our first night we had a room overlooking the main road which was noisy, however when I mentioned this the next morning we were moved no problem and one night stay refunded without me having to even ask! Excellent staff and excellent restaurant! Will stay here again!! Have recommended this hotel already!!

Good location 10 min walk from London Bridge station usual premier inn fare.
Close to tower Bridge and south bank where you can walk for miles along the river and take in all the bars and entertainment with the backdrop of the Thames.
All in all a great stay

We experienced a good stay. Unfortunately they didnt have free wi-fi. And the signs to find the hotel when we came out of the subway were not there. So we searched for a long time with our luggage. Maybe an idear to mark the shortest way to the hotel.
