“Cute lil gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2014

When I am in the area it is my secret pleasure to I pop in; the rose is cold and there is nice selection of micro-ciders/ales on tap. This place is intimate - i wish this were my local; it's like kind of place that you know people have sat in the little corner for centuries to enjoy the company of friends. Marginally bigger than wardrobe with dozen table -- this is magical cosy.

PS Great pork sandwiches!

What to say? Just a great boozer. Superb beer and great food. Well worth finding for anyone who wants a proper pub with a great range of beer.

“If there are pubs in heaven, this is what they'll be like”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2014

Number one priority for any pub should be the quality of the beer, and the Jerusalem Tavern has got it spot on. If out of the dozen or so St. Peter's Brewery beers available a person can't find at least one they like, then they have no business drinking beer. The food menu is limited, but I guess it's only there to stop those of us who get peckish from moving on somewhere else. The gents' toilet is nothing to write home about, but why would that be a priority in a pub? So long as the floors aren't soaked, I couldn't give a stuff. Unlike some previous reviewers I don't need a hello and a smile from the bar staff, I just need a pint of the good stuff. Having just started work about 15 minutes walk away, this has become an occassional stopping off point on the way back to Cannon Street, and will continue to be so all the time I'm working so close. This is a drinker's pub, and long may it stay that way. My only gripe is the price of a pint, but that's a problem all over London these days, so if you're paying top dollar at least in the Jerusalm Tavern you know you're getting value for money.
