We stayed for one night in a very uncomfortable bed. We asked in the evening if we could remain in our room and pay the extra, as we wanted to prepare for the theatre in the evening, returning home after the show.
We were told it should not be a problem," ask in the morning"
We did and the receptionist said " not possible and all rooms are booked" fed up now we returned to our room, packed and returned our key cards.
The receptionist had changed when we returned and a young lady sounding American was behind the desk. I thought I'd try again and the reply was "not a problem". We had a room 3 rooms away from our previous room until 6 pm.
The other receptionist just could not be bothered and I found this via many staff of whom struggled with English

Second visit, the first was good hence the return. Good location.
Tiny room 2 single beds small dingy bathroom and not particularly clean. None/very weak wifi with nowhere to sit as you are competing with the millions of students that overrun the place.
Breakfast was pure chaos and not a particularly good selection.

Room Tip: Specify double room with double bed.

Tiny room with minimal storage space for clothes. The bed was dreadful, with matttress springs digging into me all night. No hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes on. Dreadful customer service. Free WiFi only available in the lobby - poor speed - dirty, crowded area to sit with tables frequently cluttered with used glasses from previous night's bar crowd. No ironing facilities in the room - had to go on a trek to another floor to use an iron hidden away in an ironing room which was not even signed.Breakfast was a joke - basic food only for their so-called continental breakfast. Fortunately, there is a brilliant little cafe across the street where we ended up going each morning. On checking out,it was notable that no one enquired if we had enjoyed our stay - I asked if there was a feedback form but of course there wasn't - they clearly aren't interested in customer feedback / service. This hotel would be lucky to even rate 1 star in Australia.

Long queue for check-in with only 2 staff working on reception.
Massive Characterless building, like college dormitory. Seemingly Endless corridors. Room small. Clean. Fairly large bathroom with bath tub and fixed shower head which was placed for people 8 feet tall!! No fridge or secure box in room. No WiFi in room. Tea and coffee making facilities. Check-out involved depositing the room key in a box (quick). Staff were helpful arranging a minicab to take us to airport. Good location, close to Dury Lame and British Museum. Good restaurants and pubs close-by (Cosmo Place). Area felt safe to walk about. Breakfast in the hotel was a disaster. Some cereals provided in price of room. Cooked food was charged extra. Lots of noise (sirens) from street all night. No noise from adjacent rooms. Many better looking and smaller hotels with character in area.

We arrived at this hotel in the early hours of Thursday morning (01:30am) to be told that we had to wait for 45 minutes in order to check in due to the fact that there we were a large group of students checking in. After this, we made our way to rooms, which in a hotel this size, we were lucky to find. On our way there we saw various problems, such as stains on the walls and on the carpets (s). Once in our room, we found there was a punch mark in the wall (which says it all really!) and due to the amount of people still milling around the hotel it was quite difficult to sleep. In the morning me and my roomates went downstairs for something to eat, full well knowing that a full English breakfast was included in the price which we had paid, but once we had found the room which we were supposed to be eating in; we were turned away! This is due to the fact that we didn't have our 'blue card' which was a bit of paperwork which we apparently needed in order to eat, which we were not informed of by ANY of the hotels staff. I'm thankful that we were literally only staying there for the 2 nights as if it had been any longer, I would have wanted to relocate elsewhere as the standard of everything in this hotel were absolutely diabolical. It was a hotel of convenience, nothing else. It's worth paying a little extra just for a higher quality. Avoid it.

we stayed here for three nights for a package deal, inc train fare. cant really complain for the price . very big hotel and very noisy, our window opened onto roof top next to huge pipes which made a right racket, so opening window wasnt really an option! basic room but ok, hairdryer kettle, etc. breakfast was bedlam but to be fair, we always got a seat no bother. basic continental, no yogurts or fresh fruit/cheese/croissants....! just bog standard creals/toast etc. was sufficiant htough and had the option of full english included in my stay. staff hit and miss, some very nice, some indifferent. overall i prob wouldnt go back.

Two pensioners on a Theatre Break were delighted by the location of this hotel, easy walking distance from Euston, with good access to buses and the Tube.
We were given a free dinner on our first evening available at any of the "Family Group Hotels". The food was OK but we ate out after that.
The Breakfast room was very crowded but the food was acceptable, all except the toast which was limp cold and under-done. My wife lamented the lack of fresh fruit.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable but the constant roar of traffic almost ruined our visit.
The staff were polite and efficient, when dealing with young and old. We were impressed
by the number of groups arriving and departing. The courtyard resembled a human anthill at times.
Over-all, our stay was a happy one because we saw the shows we wanted and met many interesting people but we shall be looking for somewhere small and quieter next time.

Room Tip: Ask for a room which does not overlook Woburn Place or Bedford Way.
