“Absolutely loved it!!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

From booking the Hotel to checking out, we were made to feel really special! Jennelynne, who made the original booking for us, couldn't have been more helpful. She made a suggestion which enabled us to have an upgrade to an Executive room and when I told her it was a belated celebration for my birthday, she organised a bottle of wine to be placed in our room, along with fruit and fresh flowers. The Hotel is stunning and as we travelled via Victoria Tube station, couldn't have been more convenient. The décor is very olde worlde but the room amenities are modern, with a lovely monsoon shower, freeview TV, and a mini-bar tucked away discreetly. We had a fabulous super-king bed with a sofa, coffee-table and chairs to sit and have a 'brew'. also, having access to the Club Lounge meant we had a relatively inexpensive evening sitting chatting to a very nice American family. There were snacks available with the drinks too. Having a practically private dining room for breakfast was lovely too. The open top tour buses, which are a must to get all the sites in, stop right outside the door!! All in all, a wonderful experience for our first 'tourist' experience of London. Having seen (from the top of the bus) some of the more crowded areas of London, we realised what a lovely elite place the Hotel was actually in!!. Today, two days after our stay, I had a phonecallf rom Jennelynne, checking that everything was okay and that we had enjoyed ourselves!! Wonderful customer service, and we would definitely stay there again, and would certainly recommend it to anyone else :)

Room Tip: We were overlooking Buckingham Palace and didn't hear a peep! The Executive rooms allow club lou...

Centrally located, great breakfast and congenial staff! It was a great location to pick up tour buses, the tube(subway) and hop-on-hop off buses. The staff was great and even provided adapters (deposit required) for electrical conversion. The breakfast was fresh and had a large selection. We ate at the Shakespeare pub right across the street from the hotel and it was a great pub for the first night we arrived.

Room Tip: 5th floor and above since the hotel is located right above the busy Victoria station

Brilliantly located for many of the attractions we wanted to visit. Room and bathroom were spotless and large enough for myself, husband and daughter - although her bed wasn't made up as it should have been this was quickly remedied. We all had a great nights sleep.
Breakfast was reasonable, a vast choice and friendly staff serving tea/coffee and toast. Would certainly stay again.

Stayed at Grosvenor hotel in Victoria London for 3 nights last week. It was my best ever experience in London. Nothing was short of perfection. Swift check - in, breath taking vistorian architecture, amazong location in the heart of the city and attached with vistoria train station, spacious room with a heavenly bed, royal breakfast and to top it all very friendly and courteous staff. We were specially touched by Mr Zohaib and Mr. tahir who were available throughout for support with a big smile and friendly details. Some of the insider tips they both have regarding food options in the vicinity and how best to utilise out time for sightseeing helped us plan our time well. All in all a 10 out of 10 experience. Will definitely stay here next time we are back in London. Regards, akbar khan

Thanks for your post and awarding us a 10 out of 10 for your perfect stay with us. My hub and I could walk to most sights, and the buffet breakfast was good in a restaurant with atmosphere but without competitive lines. Servers get tea, so one is not juggling that in addition to plate and juice. We'd flown all night and requested an early check-in if available. Hotel staff friendly and attentive; ice water/lemon usu. available in lobby. We were with Monograms and were booked in accommodations with one lift with the room ready later. We opted for two lifts (no problem) to freshen up before sightseeing and were grateful to get our bedroom early. Our room was small with two twins that we pushed together to make room for suitcases. We both loved the historic hotel feel and were very comfortable in the area adjacent to Victoria Station. Our room was quiet, and I'm not sure where we were located directionally.

Room Tip: We were fine with two lifts to access our room, but if you mind this, ask for an accommodation that...

Dear Reviewer,
Thanks for your post. The Grosvenor dates back to 1862 and is steeped in history. We have restored the hotel to its former glory and bought back to life the Victorian features while adding a modern contemporary twist. Our friendly team will always do their very best to accommodate our guests who request an early check in and I’m pleased we were able to check you in so you could freshen up before exploring our great city. Our location here at Victoria is second to none with the mainline, underground and bus terminals literally just steps away and many sights within walking distance from our hotel. We do hope to have the chance to welcome you back to stay with us again soon.

Book a standard double room for 1 night for me and the wife. Hotel was amazing, very big but also cozy at the same time.
Room was great, we had a huge bed, Bose sound dock chiller and a good power shower and bath.
The a service was great from the staff our bags taken to the room and the room prepared for sleeping when we returned from the theatre.
If you planing on going to see wicked or billy Elliot, then this hotel is the place to stay. Only a 2 min walk from Victoria palace theatre. Hotel staff made us feel very special and had our room ready before the original 3pm check in.
I would 100% stay again and I will be back in the near future

Thanks for a great stay guys, see you soon

Me and mrs Jeffery
