“Spectacular lunch and view”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

We were lucky enough to be treated to a gourmet lunch at the reataurant/club at the top of the building. It was a truly gourmet lunch. Incredible service, wine, and terrific views of greater London.

“Unique addition to London Streetscape”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

Visible from far, but hard to see from near unless you are directly on the St. Mary street. Definitely worth to walk over when you visiting the Tower Hill and Tower Bridge.

For tourist, it is hard to gain access even to the lobby. Security is tight. Last building which stood on this site was bombed in April 1992.

“Even better close up”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

We always enjoy our visits to London watching how it has developed /changed over the years. We were fortunate enough, through a contact, to gain access to the Gherkin and see the views from the very top of the building which is a restaurant (for members of staff/clients only, not open to the public). Obviously, there are some security constraints before you gain admittance to the building and passes are required. The whole interior of the building is very spacious and attractive, the lifts carry you up very speedily but, of course, the main attraction is the 360 degree view of London illustrating the amazing contrasts of old and new architecture. Views extended to The Olympic Stadium, Emirates stadium, Canary Wharf, Crystal Palace transmitters, etc. On leaving the building, we admired the exterior from ground level and marvelled at its construction and shape.
