Brilliant venue - great sound and view even from upper back seats. Lovely outside roof terrace for drinks, and nice views from large glass windows for the bar. Strict security, but extremely friendly and good humoured security staff all the same. A very pleasant experience.

Great venue for some summer fun, watched a live performance of good music and feel some sands between my toes on the famous Camden beach. Great atmosphere, must see place when you're in London.

Never heard of the beach at Camden Roundhouse before but thought it was worth visiting as we have a 6 year old and are a young couple ourselves. We invited some friends and spent over 4 hours there on the first day it opened. We got there at 11.45 as doors open at 12pm and I would recommend going early to avoid disappointment. Luckily as we were first in we got pick of the deck chairs, but also 5 mins later all the seats were gone and about 1 hour later it was heaving. You could hardly move, but our 6 year old kept carving out some space for us and people didn't want to be around a young child who was playing in the sand so she did well for us!

Drinks were about £7.50 each for Pimms and a rum cocktail. There was a hot dog stand and fish and chips, but I can't eat gluten/wheat and there was nothing for me so I had to eat the £2 popcorn as you're not allowed to bring food or drink in yourself. Not even bottled water! There is also no shade, so if you are coming with a young family just be wary of that. We were there when it was 28 degrees and it was baking! Music was good and people were friendly enough. Worth a visit as entry is completely free!

Excellent service - and an inspiring venue - who wouldn't want to go and hang out there - loved the lager too!

My brother took me to see a show here in April 2014. The theatre was a good size, not too big, but big enough for the performance. I believe the seating can be arranged to suit any performance.
