We tried the IMPACT (balcony) of Empire Leicester Square and a bit of disappointment.

Seats - not as comfortable as I expected. The spacing is not great. When you are seating, no one can really pass through in front of you and even if your standing so someone can pass through , it's difficult and annoying.

Screen - too near to your face. The distance wasn't really great.

The whole IMPACT screen is so tiny that's leads to unenjoyable experience.

If you're going to the balcony - there's no choice of using a lift or escalators. You need to use the stairs so make sure you're ok with it.

I'm sure they had a bigger theatre than the one playing the movie we saw, but the entire movie theatre we were in consisted of like 6 rows in a small room with the smallest movie screen I've ever seen. The staff was great and the theatre was very clean. They have you pick a seat on their seating chart. They told me that their larger theatre which had IMAX (not playing the movie we wanted) held over 500 or more seats. It was an experience.

We saw Edge of tomorrow in 3D on the new IMAX screen and it was a great experience. The size of the screen is HUGE which really immerses you in the movie. The sound system is the best I have ever heard! We sat pretty centrally (H35) and some of the effects really sound like their in the cinema. The 3D intro just before the movie starts makes you want to dodge the flying graphics. At £18 each it's a lot to watch a movie but this is an experience like a theme park ride!

This great cinema in the heart of London is a great place to watch a film. It shows great art house or documentaries as well as cinema releases. They also have a great snack bar and Bar for all your requirements.

Very good theatre, comfy seats, plenty if space and good 3D although I expected more of the IMAX.

We saw The Edge of Tomorrow - surprisingly good. It seems they picked the most successful concepts from previous blockbusters, added Tom Cruise, a big budget and loads of CGI! Should be renamed Groundhog D-Day Transformavatar Davinci Code.
