My wife and I stayed here for four nights and really loved this small hotel. It is just off of Picadilly near the Green Park tube stop and within walking distance of many of the top tourist sites in London. We loved the history behind the building the hotel is located in and named for. The decor of the property and our room was exquisite, upscale English. Our bed was very comfortable and the bath room was very nice. We even had a fireplace. The breakfast was excellent and the staff is very good and friendly. The bar is small and cozy. We would recommend it to our friends.

Room Tip: Stay in the room immediately above the first floor that overlooks the street in front of the hotel...

We stayed here for one night and it was really a wonderful place to stay. It is small and personal, as well as comfortable and luxurious. It is very conveniently located next to Green Park and the Underground, yet our room was quiet and a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of London. The pictures on their website are a very accurate representation of what you get: they obviously take pride in what they do and run the place to a very high standard. We will definitely stay here again if we're back in London.

Booked this as we had a party to go to. We needed to be in the room early to get ready so rang the hotel, they were great allowing us to check in early.

We had a room on the first floor, there's 9 rooms in total spread over three floors with no lift. The rooms was lovely, good quality linens well planned out room.

As people have said before this is a members club but doesn't have that pretentious feel, in fact we are considering joining the club as the atmosphere is so relaxing.

Unfortunately we missed breakfast but it is served until 11am with check out at noon, but we did hear good reports.

All in all a great place to stay and will certainly be on our list for a return visit.

Room Tip: if you have walking difficulties ask for a room on the first floor

My daughter and I stayed here last year for one night on a trip to London.
We had the most fabulous room although it was a long trip up a few flights of stairs but well we'll worth it when we arrived. Defiantly a place I hope to stay in again.

Very friendly service, and great bathroom and lovely linens etc. a real bargain compared to most hotels considered and in a lovely location. Will certainly return. Our room 1 was in the basement so no view and we could hear the tube rumbling below but I thought this was a positive. This is a private club and not your average hotel.

The Fox Club was a chance find for a recent 2 night stay in London and I don't think we would now stay anywhere else on a return trip!

If you favour large, slick, impersonal hotel stays then this is not the place for you. It is a member's club which houses a small number of rooms, all individually styled and the service reflects this, in that it is very relaxed and friendly and the staff are clearly accustomed to doing everything possible to accommodating their members/guests. The bar is available for as long as you can stay awake and staff are personable, flexible and willing to help. We arrived early and needed to place our things in our room (which wasn't then ready) for a very quick change of clothes later on in the day - this was no problem at all and all easily accommodated. There was a toilet leak in our room which we reported and (despite the bank holiday) was resolved quickly without fuss.

We stayed in room 3 (Executive room) which we loved. This is on the first floor fronting the road (but no noise) and we enjoyed the double french windows/balconies.The bed was very comfortable and breakfast great.

This place is in a great location; a stone's throw from Green Park/ Buckingham Palace/the Ritz/The Wolseley restaurant/the tube station and the nearby pubs and restaurants in Shepherd Street/Market.

A great place, a great stay and well worth a visit.

It was a very pleasant surprise to walk into Room 4 of the Fox Club, not only was the bedroom area larger than expected for a London hotel, but you also had an substantial space containing a wardrobe and sofa separating the bedroom from the bathroom. The decor of the room was colonial and quirky, apparently all the rooms have their own style so it would be hard to generalize. Everything was very clean and finished off to a high standard. The room was equipped with an iron and ironing board, hair-dryer, fridge, safe, wifi and the usual tea/coffee making facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was very little noise to disturb your sleep, even the air-con was quiet. Located literally a minutes walk from the underground, the Fox club's location was ideal. The staff were all very courteous and helpful and we would definitely stay here again.
