Our second stay at this hotel. We primarily choose it for its location and price. Friendly staff. Small room but functional. Except shower that was completely lousy. Told reception when we checked out and where offered free breakfast our next stay. Nice way to apologize. Will come back again.

My husband & I stayed at the Regent's Park Holiday Inn for my Birthday during the 2nd May Bank Holiday and on arrival, we were upgraded to an Executive room, on the 6th floor, along with a lovely gift of chocolate brownies and a card. Tastefully modern decorated room, with neutral shades and great facilities, a very comfortable room, overlooking a quiet street, so a good nights sleep was guaranteed. The only disappointing point, the shower, well it was more like a trickle, so it was a challenge to wash your hair, as the pressure was non-existent to was off shampoo. But as we were only there 4 days didn't let it effect our stay.
The hotel is in a very central location, with excellent bars and restaurants nearby if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. We walked to Regent's Park from the hotel, up to Primrose Hill and to Camden; also to Marlyebone one day, which is nice and handy. We also walked to Oxford Street and Regent Street from hotel.
The breakfast at the hotel was fresh and replenished and the waiter was so friendly, chatty and genuinely took an interest in us. The bar was excellent too and a handy addition if you wanted a drink before hitting the highlife!
On check-out, when we mentioned the shower pressure, lack of, the receptionist deducted some costs from our mini bar bill and also took off couple of the breakfasts - what a great touch and how customer service should be - well done! We will definitely be back if we come down to London again.

The location of the hotel is good with easy access to Euston and the west end of london. The hotel was quiet and very clean but the rooms were tiny. I was given a twin bedded room and at 5"10' the bed felt tiny. The rooms were also very hot as the air on seemed to go off automatically in the night. That said it was very clean and the staff were incredibly helpful and polite.

Dear Swaff

Thank you for your review on our hotel, we are glad you enjoyed our location, we hear this a lot from our guests, which is great because location is so important. Our compact hotel rooms are a reflection of our central London location, we do make sure they are clean and offer all the amenities you require for a cosy nights sleep. The air conditioning should not have automatically switched off, so thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can resolve it immediately, and we apologise sincerely.

We hope to welcome you back in the future.

Kind Regards,

Miriam, GMs Office.

Stayed here to take the Wife and Daughter on a weekend shopping trip to Westfields and Central London Great location with Gt Portland St station 5 mins walk and Euston Station 10 - 15mins and car parking at hotel for reasonable rates for London! Hotel very clean and relaxed. Rooms were also clean and very comfortable. Breakfast very good with a very wide choice of hot and cold dishes including Fresh Pancakes and Syrup!,,, Oh and the room rates are very reasonable too. Would recommend to families and couples alike

Room Tip: No worries as in a quiet area with very little traffic so all rooms as good as the next

Although not a 5 star hotel, I am giving it 5 stars for the all round experience relevant to the cost. My partner and I stayed just the one night for a quick visit to London. It ideally situated near Oxford & Regent Streets but far enough away that it's not too noisy. There are also some great bars and cafes close by.
I also left my car keys in the safe and was both relived and impressed when I rang the front desk to see if they had found them, to find that they were awaiting my collection in a personalised envelope.
The room was very nice and the staff were most helpful and friendly

Room Tip: The higher the better

Just had two nights at this hotel for weekend with my daughter ,as other reviews say not that far from Oxford St so if not raining it's a nice straight forward walk The room was fine and housekeeping of a high standard .Staff seemed to be of many nationalities but very helpful and friendly .Breakfast was good quite a big choice my daughter spotted a pancake machine and although a good idea it did not work very well more testing I think on pancake machines very floury and doughy, but the rest was fine.We did two shows one by Leicester Square one in the Apollo theatre Hammersmith and both were very easy to get to so all in all if you want a hotel handy for the main London attractions you will be fine here if you are not to familiar with London there are lots of places to walk to and plenty of tube stations near by ,we always seem to be very happy at Holiday Inns and this is now a strong favourite for future London stays.

We stayed at the end of May 2014 and firstly, we were pleasantly surprised by just how central this hotel is. Upon arrival, we were told we were being upgraded (free of charge) from a standard double room to an executive double room. This was very well received by myself and my girlfriend - they even gave us 2 free drinks vouchers to use in the bar. We couldn't have asked for a better reception.

Then, upon finding our room and getting settled, we discovered we had a distinct lack of towels had been supplied but a quick phone call to reception sorted that and they were more than happy to bring some up to us.

The only thing I could find cause for complaint would be the water pressure of the shower and the taps for brushing teeth/washing face etc but being on the sixth floor, what do you expect?

Everything about our stay was fantastic and we would definitely stay there again.
