A short walk from Liverpool Street station, this is an ideal base for visiting many attractions in the city. The rooms are clean and pleasant after the recent refurbishment and everything is easy to find.
Staff response was varied and the self check in was not available when I arrived. As a single female traveller I was concerned that the security was propped open, allowing access to the room

Booked by the company we were contracted to. Very close to Liverpool Street Station, approx. 5 mins walk.
Rooms were exceedingly hot, no air-conditioning but a fan was provided and we were offered a further fan if required. Corridors were ridiculously warm! Room was clean and functional.
Somewhat disconcerted that I was given towels and a hairdryer at reception (apparently only towels for 1, not 2 already in the room), never had that happen before unless at a hostel.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a decent choice and good value for London (self service) think it was approx. £7-£8 for the full English.
30 mins of free wifi and then you had to pay after that.
I guess you get what you pay for, and had there been air-con, my rating would have been higher but all in all a decent budget hotel, close to amenities and travel options.

Great little place to base yourself to explore the sites of London. Tube nearby and Tower of London walking distance. Great and very friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. They even found somewhere to store our bikes!

Arrived on a Saturday night and found the check in process very easy and stress free.

Location is in a quiet street near railway station and easy to find. Room was comfortable, bed was clean and comfortable and happy with what I found.

Breakfast was nice, plenty of food available to fill you up before a day of exploring.

Good value as I purchased during the sales process so happy with my experience

While the bed was comfy enough and facilities were basic/adequate, NONE of the rooms have air con or any means of ventilation. You can't open the windows either.

You are however provided with a fan but you have to leave it on overnight if the room is to be a comfortable temperature.

You're better off paying extra for a more comfortable stay.

Never again!

Location is good and cost very reasonable. But with travelodge you only expect that the room is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Unfortunately the standard of cleaning at Liverpool Street is not very good. Shower curtains and fan were rather dirty.

Fair sized rooms, comfy bed, bath/shower, Freeview TV and fairly basic facilities are OK if the price is keen enough for this well placed City based hotel. It has no soul, no air con (so in summer than's windows opne and live with the noise - and though the street isn't busy, there were deliveries from early on making lots of noise), but rooms do have decent sized desks and basic WiFi for £3 for 24 hours. Pay on booking means checkout is walk out - easy and fast. See note on room advice though...

Room Tip: My room, end of the long corridor on 2nd floor, south end of the hotel looking out over Eat and the...
