Stayed there one night. Room was average - average size, average shower, average TV, bed linen, towels. Room was clean and mattress was fine. Location was good.
However - I was placed in a room on the third floor, which is actually a ground floor, where anyone could peak in through the window. I have never seen any hotel place women in such rooms.
Would not stay there again. Will not stay there again.

Dear Nettads,

Please accept our apologies for any embarrassment or inconvenience which may have been caused during your recent visit. We are unsure of your comments relating to the Grange City Hotel as we have no ground floor rooms. We look forward to speaking with you soon and restoring your faith in us.

With kind regards,

Myself and my partner stayed at the 'Grange City' December 6th for one night. The Deputy General Manger 'Benjamin Suster' greeted us and made us feel incredibly welcome. Our room (918) was large and luxurious and spotless. Housekeeping standards throughout the hotel were impeccable !!! We enjoyed Incredible views of the shard and Tower Bridge. The room was 5 star in every way, even down to the 'BOSE' music system in the room and the fluffy bathrobes and luxurious toiletries. We both felt very pampered. We found all the staff, from check in to the concierge and maid service to be very friendly and efficient. We were attending a wedding in the city on the Saturday, hence I chose the Grange City. Regretfully we only stayed for the one night. So impressed were we, neither of us wanted to leave in the morning to go to the wedding !!! I have just booked a longer stay, pre - Christmas at the Grange City so we can make full use of the Grange's health club and restaurants. We Cannot recommend the hotel enough and really looking forward to our return visit. Thank you !!!!.

Let's be clear: this a 3 star hotel with amenities, not a 5 star. It's average in every way.

The location is good for the Tower, but there's a 50% chance you'll get a view of the railway lines at Fenchurch Street station (people will stare in your room from trains) or a brick wall.

Inside it's a rabbit warren of low ceiling corridors, lit by fluorescent lamps. The rooms are fine but utterly not worthy of note. Staff are surly and Slavic. Breakfast is as basic as it gets.

Come not expecting much and you'll be okay.

Stayed in this hotel for one night and wish it had been for longer!! Our room was on the 11th floor overlooking the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, the views for amazing. Room was spacious, well equipped and luxurious. We didn't eat at the hotel in the evening but we did have breakfast included in the room rate which was pretty nice. Would definitely stay here again!

The Grange is in a great location for anyone wanting to do work in the business/Fenchurch St district of London. It's also a short walk from the Tower of London, Tower Bridge & numerous good bars and restaurants along the Thames.

The service is impeccable and the rooms are large and comfortable. I was staying in a Club Room facing the Tower of London. The Club Lounge facilities were good and the gym was outstanding. I will definitely be staying here again.
