“Great Fall Experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 March 2014

We went during the first week of October and it was fantastic! We were worried about the weather but the sun actually decided to shine for most of the trip. it was our first time to London so we tried to see and do as much as possible. This hotel was right in the middle of everything and allowed us to have a great experience. Great views and within walking distance to many top sites in the area!

my daughter and I had 2 nights Saturday and sunday. 22 23 march 2014. the room was lovely, a view of the tower which was so beautifully lit at night it made you proud of England.
plenty of tea coffee and milk provided in room, also great bathroom products
We had an excellent full English breakfast, the staff greeted us at the door ,and were very polite and efficient, I have stayed with grange hotels many times before in different locations in London with both my husband and friends, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Room Tip: ask for a view of the tower

This is one of the best hotels I stay in, and I stay in a lot of hotels. Great Location, excellent amenities, very comfortable rooms but above all the most helpful and friendly staff throughout. Nothing is too much trouble and everybody smiles.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing Tower Bridge, the Tower and the River Thames on one of the higher floors. F...

My daughter and I spent two nights at this lovely hotel. It had the makings of a great little spot, but alas, didn't carry through with initial impressions.

The best thing about my stay was the fact that I was offered the use of a "day room" to freshen up in (nap!) after my overnight flight from Canada. This was a very welcome treat, and I remain grateful. Thank you Grange!

When we were assigned our room, we found it very pleasantly appointed. Unfortunately I have a mild physical issue that normally doesn't warrant mentioning, and has little affect on my day to day living.....however, I found it exceptionally difficult to get in and out of the incredibly deep tub in the bathroom. Having said that, so did my fit young daughter!

The staff at this hotel were a bit aloof, and I found that unusual for London (or at least my experiences in London). The Continental breakfast was good......but the dining room had no charm, hard to put it into words, but it wasn't inviting.

The hotels location was good for business, or for the Marina area and Tower Bridge, everything else is a (slow - District Line) tube ride away. Tube is handy though.

In a nutshell, good and blah at the same time! The Spa was ok, pool under renovation, and as for services.....not a terrific massage (she didn't understand what I was asking for, actually did the opposite lol).

Probably a good choice for the business traveller, but I am not likely to return for pleasure.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a recent weekend trip to London. Location is amazing, 2min walk from tower hill tube station and 5mins down the hill to the tower of london and river thames. There is also a wetherspoons located to the right of the park which was good for a quick bite to eat.

I absolutely loved this hotel, we arrived and were given a complimentary upgrade. Our room had stunning views; to the left you could see tower of london and the thames, straight ahead was the shard and to the right was the gherkin.

The room itself was spacious, very comfy bed. Complimentary water and tea and coffee facilities. As a resident of the hotel you were able to use the gym, sauna and pool facilities- very relaxing after a day seeing the sights!

We had continental breakfast with our room and to be honest it was all we needed. Fruit, cereal, toast, croissants and pastries galore for you to help yourself to.

Definitely going to return for a summer trip and will definitely recommend as THE place to stay when visiting London.

Room Tip: Request a high floor by calling in advance. The high floors give good views over London.

Stayed one night (Saturday) and overall very good.
Perfectly placed for a Tower of London and literally a stones throw from the tube.
I had an exec room, very nice and comfortable, good amenities and slept very well.
Breakfast was good, but the restaurant seemed soulless.
3 groups of hen parties in at breakfast! Seemed very busy.
The only criticism is the over priced bar. £8.50 plus service charge for a 175ml glass of Sauvignon Blanc is quite frankly a rip off, even for a Central London hotel bar!
