“Top quality food”

Went in here tonight. Excellent food, lovely service and nice atmosphere. I come from an Indian background so very picky with my food, but this matched my expectations 150%

“After a hard day in Court”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

Had to attend the Appeal court on London (Not as a litigant!) was staying with family in nearby Parliament Hill. W ent into the Paradise for a late supper. A warm welcome by one of the owner's sons. Live authentic indian music . nice table , superb food. Have visited this place in the past, and never disappointed, recommend a main dish named after a professor who patronises the establishment

“Best local Indian restaurant”
Reviewed 6 November 2013

This is a must on every visit to London. The food is delicious and well cooked. The service is great. The owner warmly greets everyone, and is particularly warm and attentive to returning customers. There is a good selection of dishes for vegetarians and they will make special dishes on request. The restaurant is always busy, and booking is recommended

“outstanding food, with warm friendly service”
Reviewed 5 November 2013

excellent, rich tasty dishes cooked to perfection. Delightful service and attentive staff and management. Busy, even on a miserable November evening - a great sign. A first class dining experience, and great value. First visit, but definitely not our last.

“Oh dear!”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

I have heard much praise for this restaurant and may have hit a bad day. I got a take away which was pretty awful. The shami kebab was more like a bad tikka version of a burger, very red and tough. Shami should be almost like a mash it is so finely minced. The Bhuna lamb was equally chewy and unpleasant. The tarka dhal was too thick for my liking. The only dish I enjoyed was the Pillau rice which was cooked beautifully, each rice grain separate and very fragrant. I am Indian and know I am fussy about the cuisine but this had little to recommend it. I actually threw most of it away which is unheard of in my household as I cannot bear waste. However it was a good move as I woke up feeling very queazy and with a tummy ache. I will not be going back. It wasn't cheap either, nearly £20 for a starter, a main, rice and a side.
