Went for lunch on a Saturday, food was pretty average, not amazing, nothing really stood out. Staff were attentive. Not in any rush to visit again soon.

This is a place to have light, freshly made and delicious Indian food. The food comes quick, is a canteen style restaurant with a small selection of food and drinks, all delicious. The portions are small and come quick so you need to order several dishes to share.

they don't have elaborate menu, but the choice is sufficient to satisfy your hunger after walking through Oxford Street. It could be Indian Chats or curries with rice or bread. don't try idli there, didn't liked it, rest all was great. super quick service

The food at Roti Chai is wonderful, and offers up a delicious twist on Indian street food.
From spicy fish dishes to delicious vegetarian food (lots of flavoured potato dishes), there was something for everyone in our party. The Macher Jhol (fish curry) is lovely, and comes with rice too for under a tenner! Chilli paneer is lovely, and make sure to get some roti too.

Very reasonably priced for the quality of food, but make sure to book ahead and ask for a table in the window or against the wall (with the big comfy seats).

There's casual seating upstairs and a more formal restaurant downstairs (also has wheelchair access via lift and I think it's step free). Have yet to try the downstairs section, but it looks reasonably priced and really nice.

Will definitely be going back. Lovely atmosphere and staff were very quick and friendly too.

Went to Roti Chai as a group of 4 - chose the street kitchen option and got a table fairly quickly for a saturday evening. Fantastic service - can't fault it. Cocktails were unique. Food menu looks great - indian street food with a twist. The meat options were tasty - especially the chicken lollipops and lamb burger. But the veg indian street food was average. The dhokla, pani puri and aloo chaat were up to the expected standard. The manchurian and hakka paneer lacked any spice. For what it is, the prices are relatively expensive. Overall, a one-off experience. Wouldn't be the first place on my mind when someone mentions Indian street food in London.
