I have stayed here twice since the hotel opened and have been extremely impressed on both occasions. Helen at reception has offered a warm and efficient check-in each time I have stayed and I very much look forward to my next visit. The hotel recognised my Gold Ambassador status and upgraded my room (in line with policy) as well as providing all of the additional benefits such as fresh fruit, soft drinks and a movie. The hotel is very new and so the rooms are pristine as is the rest of the building( though the gym is not yet open). The food in the Blue Boar Smokehouse is excellent and very reasonably priced given the quality. Overall a first class hotel which is now my preferred choice for London visits.

Barely 6 weeks old, this Intercontinental is an outstanding hotel. The staff are extremely warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile.

The rooms are very modern in design, with all the extras you would expect from a 5* hotel. The public areas are all finished to a high standard and are bright and airy.

We will definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending.

Privileged to have been one of the first to discover this hotel -everything you would expect from an InterContinental hotel with a quirky political touch that makes it even more inviting.
Fancy learning about British politics in a humorist, anecdotical way? Then this is the place to stay.
Staff although new, extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms decor very tasteful and modern. Club InterContinental quite comfortable and pleasant to be in.

Me and my family stayed at this hotel from December 23 to 28, 2012. The staff were fantastic, very helpfull, friendly, try to solved the problem for us.
The restaurant staff where we have our breakfast every morning was fantastic. The food, was excellent, fresh, and crisppy.
Especially the concierge team. They were so helpfull. We have tried to book any attraction, they were helping us from they heart. We asked the consierge to send our luggage to Amsterdam by courier, not only find the best quote for us, but also looking after our luggage where arrived in Amsterdam on time.
The room was clean, brand new and everything work in good conditions.
I never seen the General Manager around (probably on Christmas holiday) but without him the staff can do everything without any supervision. Conngrates!!!
You all deserved excellent rate for the trip advisor.
See you again on my next holiday.

Room Tip: Book the corner suite, though the window is small but you dont missed the view anyway. Excellent roo...

I stayed on new years day for two nights with my girlfriend. Ive stayed in intercontinentals before and as usual the hotel is very aesthetically pleasing. The first thing you notice is the friendly warm welcome you get on reception, lovely people who took the time to ask about my visit and my journey. The room as you would expect from a new hotel had state of the art tv, electrical plugins for it and the bathroom suite was a great size. Especially enjoyed the 'rain' shower head in the bathroom. After a great night sleep we had of course managed to oversleep amd miss breakfast whih runs till 10am although when we went down at half past the lady on breakfast said it would be no problem and after conferring with the chef allowed us in (eggs benedict is fantastic). The evening meal was exquisite as well. food was gorgeous from starter through to desert (recommend the ribs). We had cheese for desert but was sad to hear they had no port upon enquiring. Within a minute the restaurant manager had come over to express his concerns on the matter and assured us he would rectify it immediately when they placed their next order but offered us both a complimentary italian desert wine which he recomended with the cheese we selected. A lovely touch which really topped of not just a great evening but a great stay overall. We will definately be back in the upcoming months as being just a stones throw away from buckingham palace the hotel is situated perfectly for exploring london. Amazing staff!!!!!

The hotel has been open only 6 weeks and already it feels established and if it has been there forever. Excellently located near all attractions such as St James Park, Westminster Abbey, 20 mins walk to Trafalgar Square. The concierge staff were busy assisting to guests and the immediate attention from them I have to say was welcome. The reception has high ceilings and many arcifacts to ponder over and the walls are adorned with an interesting collection of artwork from policiticians gone by and fish with open and closing eyes. The interior is fresh and caters for all tastes ie: the Emily Pankhurst lounge is glamourous and chic and has hints of fushcia and silver, perfect for the ladies. The Blue Boar Restaurant is masculine and dark with good lighting and excellent seating arrangements. We dined in the Blue Boar and the food was great, I had the baked oysters and Lockhart Salmon. Rooms are high end all equipped with Nespresso machines, the finest quality bed linen, excellent gadgets and more importantly a selection of glasses. The attention to detail is fantastic and the staff very welcoming. A must stay whilst in London. PS they have a 24 hour gym also!

We originally booked the Crown plaza in London, as at the time this newly built hotel wasn't bookings, however nearer the date of our trip this hotel became available and we were not disappointed.

The concierge, reception and room service was outstanding and the decor was superb, however the windows had a permanent shutter to prevent from looking outside, which in hind sigh was a good thing as the views are very restricted. As a new hotel we expected some issues but there were none and all of the staff were extremely helpful, polite and astute.

The bar/restaurant was also suitable for our stay as a couple, and included an extensive cocktail menu which made the start to one of our evenings even more pleasurable.

The hotel is also located apposite the metro/tube which made our London trip even more convenient.

Next time we are in london we will definitely be staying here again for leisure.
