This hotel opened recently near the parliamentary buildings in London. I found location to be wonderfully quiet yet easy access to all required. Rooms new, fresh, large. I had a handicap room and didnt even mind. Good spaces for breakfast, tea. And nice local restaurants and pubs nearby. Peonies were in season and I felt they overdid it a bit with the scent, but flowers were pretty. I'd stay again. Good business hotel or vacation.

As a fan of the Crown Plaza at St James I have to say I will be torn in future as to where to stay!

Great location, fab decor (the bathroom was just super). Very good staff through out. Very quiet. Liked the TV and umberella.

Room service was very slick; I really liked the hot box for keeping my porridge warm. Just a little on the expensive side, the tray charge is per person, so I paid £25 for a piece of chicken and vegetables and just less for a chicken cesear salad, both of which were very tasty but at that price they should be.

I was travelling with my Mum so would have liked more space between the twin beds.

What a great hotel this is. There was a young woman working in the reception during our stay, she has to be one of the most serviceminded receptionist we have ever met.

The location of the hotel is perfect, with the subwab station just accross the street.

Room Tip: If you have booked a standard room, be sure to upgrade to a superior king. Great value!

Fantastic new hotel inside a historic building steps from Westminster Abbey and St. James's Park. Excellent location, detailed if efficient finish out, and wonderful staff. Definitely recommend for business or sightseeing in old Victorian London.

We stayed at the Intercontinental Westminster just for one night while we were in London to go to the theatre. Not normally being able to justify spending the standard rate at a hotel like this, we secured a discounted rate using Secret Escapes.

The hotel is excellently located, literally just steps from St James' Park tube station and the valets outside the hotel were kept busy by the fancy black cars that kept pulling up, all with diplomatic plates!

The check-in process was swift and we were shown to the lift by the freindly receptionist who subsequently called the room to check we were in ok and that we were happy, as well as to confirm that the water in the mini bar was complimentary.

The room, one of their Classic rooms, was a reasonable size and very well equipped with a King size bed, fancy TV contained within a glass panel at the end of the bed and the bathroom had a bath, seperate rainfall shower and toilet behind it's own door. The decor was modern, sheets and towels were of good quality and everything was spotlessly clean. The only downside was lack of a view from the window but this is quite common in London hotels.

We did not eat in the hotel at all as we were heading out for a pre-theatre dinner in South Kensington (easily reached just a few tube stops from the hotel) and then made breakfast arrangements by Aldwych (again a short tube ride away) as the room rate was room only.

Overall we had a nice stay here but I do think that if I had paid the £300+ rate that the hotel charges usually, I would have been disappointed as without breakfast included, the room does not have £300+ worth of wow factor although the location is very good.

I would stay here again, but only if I could secure another promotional rate.

Room Tip: Classic rooms, although the most basic room choice, does not mean you will be disappointed.

A top-notch, business-oriented hotel, very professional and friendly staff, near everything, quiet, and across the street from a major tube station, alongside beautiful St. James Park. I would stay here again.

situated just off Victoria street, and minutes away from many attractions the hotel is in a quiet road, opposite the tube station. The hotel is new with lovely rooms and spectacular bathrooms, which are much larger than most in London. All the amenities are there, and a fantastic coffee machine in each room. The staff are friendly and attentive, and seem very happy working there. The hotel is not big, quiet and friendly and well worth the visit if your staying in london. The beds are very comfortable, but the air con, takes a bit of getting use too.
