What a fabulous Hotel! From the doormen in their bowler hats, to the perfect location less than 5 minutes walk to Westminster Abbey, with a tube stop right out the door, to the friendly and attentive service, our experience here could not have been better. We received a double upgrade to an executive room because it was our wedding anniversary, and the room was literally the nicest we have ever stayed in, and that is saying a lot. Separate bathtub and rain shower, Bose speaker in the bathroom ceiling with individual volume control to listen to the TV or music, and the coolest TV embedded in a mirrored wall across from the bed. It is a relatively new hotel in an old building. We stayed for 3 nights using points so the whole perfect experience was free! It is a very expensive hotel (the cheapest rate for our room that night was over 600 USD), but everything in London is very expensive. I would love to go back here; it was tremendous. There is a great place for coffee and pastries right around the corner if you don't want to pay for the hotel's breakfast.

If you have a large budget and want to be well taken care of, you will be well served booking this hotel. We used their club level, because we were there on business and knew we would need help with some services at the last minute, They came through every time.
But if you are a leisure traveler, and want a luxurious stay, you can't go wrong here, either.
The Club level is superb, with food and drink offerings that are elegantly prepared and served, staff that is amazing, and rooms that are well equipped and very comfortable.
The location quite good, as it is near a tube stop, and the entire hotel is a quiet oasis at the end of a busy day.
It's an expensive stay in comparison to some other hotels in London, but for it's category it is right in line with the others of it's type, and really, it's worth it.

My family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights.

All staff we interacted with were exemplary on every level. Concierge and porters at the front were always ready to help me out of cabs with my 3 small children and no request was too small for them.

We had an interconnecting suite with 1 King Bed and 2 single beds. Our room was spacious, immaculately cleaned and modern.

The breakfast area is really lovely too. The staff chatted to us and were very accommodating with the children.

We ordered room service on our first night after a late check-in and the food was delicious. Prompt service meant we didn't have to wait the usual 45 minutes like you do at some large hotels.

I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone in need of a luxurious but service orientated hotel in central London. They were particularly helpful with my family which helped immensely.

We are passing through London again in a few weeks, and I will be returning to this hotel again.

We choice the Intercontinental London Westminster because of its location, namely that its directly across the street from a tube station (St. James Park), about a half mile from Buckingham Palace, and less than that to Westminster Abbey.

We upgraded to a Club Level room, which gave us access to the Club International suite. This afforded us breakfast every day, as well as cold drinks/water whenever we needed them (and need them we did - we never expected London to be this warm in August!)

The room was very nice and well-appointed. Desk clerk described the view as "a courtyard" view. It was more like a view into the fire escape and windows into the business offices next door, but I can get past that.

The staff at this hotel was tremendous. With the exception of one young lady at the front desk who gave us incorrect directions, everyone else was superb. The Club International desk staf f was extremely helpful in helping us find things, print out vouchers, etc... The front doorman went out of his way to get us directions, cabs, even to get someone to bring up our packages after my wife did some damage to my credit at Harrod's....

I read now that this hotel is in the process of converting to a Conrad. I can only hope that those staff members we dealt with during our stay are kept on and not given the sack. They all helped to make our stay there truly an enjoyable one.

This was our first international trip with our 8 month old daughter. The hotel was fantastic in accommodating us with the baby - provided us with a spacious room for the baby to crawl around, a bottle warmer, cot, etc. -- made us feel like home. The location was fantastic too, right across the tube station and walking distance to restaurants and pubs. WiFi was available throughout the hotel (for free). Staff (Thanks Liz!) were great in helping us - from concierge to transferring baggage to rooms! Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and we would gladly return to this hotel with our little one next time!

The hotel is a a typical European hotel. Rooms are small, but bathrooms are great. And the staff is awesome. Grant at the front door is the best host. Concierge is very accomadating. Would definitely come back.
