We met Sandy & Anna in Thailand at Christmas and coincidentally discovered that they own this fantastic restaurant a stones throw from our son's school (Sylvia Young). After visiting the school 2 weeks ago we decided to pay them a visit and we weren't disappointed. The menu is small, which is great 'cos then you know it's made fresh, and the choice was perfect. All the food was delicious and of a very high quality and the puddings were to die for! My husband had the baked cheesecake with honey & rosemary ice-cream which was heaven on a slate! The restaurant is small and very well decorated, the staff very attentive and friendly so what more could you ask? Will definately go back again & again! Superb :)

I'm leaving a review because we only tried this restaurant following the positive reviews we read online which I really doubt are genuine. . The pizza was substandard to say the least - overloaded with cheese on a half cooked base with toppings that were certainly not fresh and had no taste. It was more like a toasted cheese sandwich than a pizza. We ordered the bill without finishing our food and to add insult to injury, found that VAT was not included in the menu (nor was this stated) and had to pay an additional 20% plus service for awful food. The only thing we enjoyed was the starter salad and French bread.

Have to agree with the previous reviews, food, service atmosphere hard to beat. However I was surprised when the bill arrived, the menu quotes prices before VAT and doesn't tell you (not sure this is even allowed in the UK!), this meant that there was over 30% added to my bill once the service charge had also been charged.

It didn't ruin the night because the restuarant is worth the final bill but if you paying for a large group, 30% added makes a big difference!

Owners should change the menu prices to include VAT, one day some-one will take exception.

We found this intimate restaurant near our hotel at Marble Arch. The ambient is nice, the service friendly.
I had a very good pizza, i reccomend it to anyone looking for a nice small restaurant in the area.
