Please don't be put off by the size, you soon become accustomed to it. On arrival we were informed that we did actually have the smallest room in the hotel, and we already knew they were small! A little worried, we made our way to the first floor room we were staying in.

Okay, so yes- it was small. But not enough to bring on any claustrophobia. We also didn't have a window- again no problem. This hotel for us was for sleeping in, and as somewhere close to all the West End show we were seeing that weekend. So for us, perfect!

Every evening the hotel offered free cheese and wine for 2 hours, which we managed to miss on both nights!! however I have been informed it is brilliant! The room was spotless, perfectly cleaned everyday and the Staff couldn't do enough to help us! The design of the hotel is incredibly unique- being converted townhouses (hence the size) and I love staying in places against the norm. Fortunately me and my partner always travel light so it didn't take up too much of the room, but if you do have (one) large suitcase there is a space under the bed for that to go. Most of the rooms have room to walk around in, ours didn't but don't worry!- we were absolutely fine! luckily me and my partner have been together for years so being in close proximity to each other at all times is no issue!

We had breakfast on one of the mornings- a buffet of cereals, fruit juices, pastries, croissants, porridge, granola, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sausages, bacon, beans, eggs, hash browns and several varieties of toast! set us up for the day amazingly!! Brilliant!

I would recommend this hotel to anybody, but possibly moreso to someone who is in London for just a few nights, isn't planning on staying in the hotel for huge amounts of time, and probably is close to the person they are staying with. It's excellent value for money, and what it lacks in space, it certainly makes up for in hospitality, character and a bloody lovely stay!!

Stopped here for just 1 night with my wife and her parents. My father-in law is disabled and although not wheelchair bound he can walk a few steps. The staff could not of been any more helpful with my father in law. Throughout the stay they assisted in every possible way that they could and are a great credit to the hotel.
The location is excellent directly in the centre of Soho and just a few yards from theatre land. The rooms are small but brilliantly designed with all the amenities you need. We will make this our number 1 hotel in Central London every time we visit.

You can't give five stars to a hotel where the rooms are so tiny. You would not want to stay here with more than an overnight bag. One side of our double bed was against a wall, which meant climbing over my wife to go to the loo in the middle of the night! Nevertheless, I would go again.Good value for central London and this hotel really is right in the heart of the action. The conversion of the property, which straddles between Moor Street and Old Compton Street is wonderfully imaginative, with stainless steel open air walkways and spiral staircases, connecting the rooms above a cosy courtyard beneath. Room design makes the most of the limited space and you can watch tv from the bed - huge range of channels provided, including Sky Sports on a good sized flat screen. Nice little cafe serves very decent buffet breakfasts - not a huge choice, but very good fried egg and sausages - please crisp up the bacon, though - cold ham, tomatoes and cheese too. So, a very useful bolthole for the odd night. Would not want to stay long though.
Staff are all quite delightful and eager to please.

Room Tip: Get the largest room you can afford.

Stayed here for 2 nights. GREAT LOCATION and the Reception Desk staff were terrific. Great atmosphere, super clean, ultra modern. The only down size is the rooms are tiny. If you're simply looking for somewhere clean and modern to sleep then this is the hotel for you. Great price too. I would have no hesitation in staying here again although I would ask for their biggest room!

Room Tip: Ask for one of their larger rooms.

I echo all the positive comments from previous reviewers. Modern, clean, slick hotel with large fluffy towels and comfortable beds. We know the rooms are small, there's no secret about that, but that's made up for by the large TV with full SKY programme! The reception area is welcoming with a massive bowl of apples and magazines. The restaurant was charming, and love the complimentary cheese and wine! We had ours in the courtyard on the first floor which was rather pleasant. We paid for breakfast in advance, which made it £1 cheaper than if we were to pay for it in the morning. For that, there are sausages, fried eggs, breads with various spreads, cereal, fruits, meats, cheeses, juices.

When I booked the room on the hotel's website, there is an option to select specific requests. I opted for higher floors (there were 5 floors) and quiet room (hoping to face the courtyard). Unfortunately I was located on the 2nd floor facing the streets!!! It was very noisy through the night (what do you expect on the streets of London!), affecting sleep.

Other than my request not being taken, and being given the room that was noisy, everything else was good.

We cannot fault this hotel - lovely staff who can't do enough to help you, clean rooms, lovely soft towels, really comfy bed & pillows... I wish we could do our trip all over again tomorrow! Yes, the rooms are small but in our room (double, room 209) there was enough room for a couple of suitcases & space to move around. The Sky TV was a great added bonus & the little extras like the hairdryer, decent sized mugs, glasses with drinking water by the bed made it even better.

There's no safe in the rooms, but you can leave your valuables at Reception in their safe (& many people do this), as well as leaving your bags in their luggage room before you check in & after you've checked out if you don't want to carry your luggage around.

The free wine, cheese, bread & muffins were so tasty, really nice wine (chose of red & white & then two different types for each) which was surprising. We didn't have the breakfast but apparently if you book this in advance it's cheaper.

We were right on the street & stayed on a Saturday & Sunday night - yes there was noise, but nothing massively too late/early that you wouldn't expect at home (think about the noise of binmen).

We stayed mostly for a theatre trip & it's right in the heart of Theatreland, with Les Mis at the Queen's Theatre a 5 minute walk away & Jersey Boys at the Prince Edward Theatre a 30 second walk away!

Will definitely be returning here when we next come to London!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 209 which is right on the front street - surprisingly it wasn't that noisy &am...

I nearly walked past the front of the hotel as it was just a door and the reception was very compact but thats all I have to say that is negative about this hotel as it was FANTASTIC!!!!!!!. Very modern and beautifully clean rooms, i was taken aback by the size of the room but actually it had everything we needed and more!. The towels were some of the best towels i have had the pleasure to use. The 40inch tv was the biggest I have seen in a hotel room and the full sky package was a first in a hotel too!. Not only did we have air con but a hair dryer and the most amazing outside walk ways and terrace. The staff were very friendly and what a surprise with the free cheese and wine!. We also had the buffet breakfast which was superb. Chek out at 11 was a good time, not too early and the staff kindly kept our bag for no extra charge for the rest of the day until we returned in the afternoon. We will deffinatley be returning so please do not change a thing. Very well done!.

Room Tip: Definatley upgrade to a Queen room.
