“Free upgrade to a beautiful apartment!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

When we arrived we were told we had been given a free upgrade, we were obviously happy but we were over the moon when we shown to our apartment for the night! It was lovely, very modern, very clean, and not short on space like I know the rooms are supposed to be, not that we would of minded, as we were only there for one night. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, free wine and cheese was served from 5-8pm. Easily the best hotel we've stayed in, in London and out of London! Beautiful, we'll definitely be back, I highly recommend it. Katie & Charley Atkinson.

We stayed at the Z hotel in Soho last Friday night. The check in was easy and the room was exactly as advertised. It was very small but we expected this, more importantly it was very clean and the quality was good. Our room did not have a window which I did miss but for a night when all you need from the room is a sleep and a shower in the morning it was great.

They had free cheese and wine that evening and considering it was free again the quality was good

Overall you cannot beat it as the location is brilliant. Would stay again but would prefer a room looking out.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel we felt welcomed. We were told they had upgraded our room free of charge and there was also free cheese and wine available between 5-8pm and free soft drinks available between 11pm-5am! The hotel has got an amazing courtyard in the hotel, on the first floor right outside the corridors, lovely seating area, candles and music! The rooms are small but we were aware of that before booking it. The room was spotless and there was a huge tv at the end of the bed (even had sky movies!). The hotel staff were so friendly and nothing was too much hassle for them! Can't fault it! Will recommend to everyone and definitely return!

We stayed at The Z Hotel from the 13th - 17th of May for a little break away; from the moment we arrived we were amazed at the location! 2 minute walk from Leicester Square tube and in the heart of Soho and the West End.
As I work in hospitality myself I was a bit worried on how clean the room would be however our room was spotless, with the bed sheets looking like they were changed every day. We were at the rear of the hotel in room 330 and with the window open there was a little noise from the streets below however with it closed we could hear nothing at all.
The team there are excellent, especially the Spanish lady serving cheese and wine throughout our stay - she really made us feel special!
The rooms are small, we were well aware of this when we booked however if you are willing to compromise a little on space for location and service then this hotel is fantastic.
(Oh and if you return after 11 there are cold cans available from reception- amazing touch!)

We would definately stay here and and want to thank The Z Hotel and its team for making our stay flawless.

Room Tip: 330 was a nice corner room - i believe its a queen room but its on a quieter side of the building...

I stay in the hôtel for a night, although it's literally the smallest hôtel room i've ever been (i stayed at the smallest room category) it is very comfortable and great in term of value.
Staff was friendly and helpful and the location is great. I'll definitely come back and will book a bigger room with a window.

I booked this last minute because I was going to a party one street away. Great location, comfy beds but tiny rooms. Fine for one night, but not an option for longer stays. Quite pricey also for rooms size. I would stay again.
