have had coffee at Paul a few times. The cakes are amazing but the coffee is always - in my experience - bitter. Better coffee elsewhere

Really good quality and cake, this place is a far cry from Costa and Starbucks. Great service and fantastic Millefeuille.

This baker's shop, although part of a chain, is artisan in quality, in fact, given that
many French Boulangeries now have their bread made in factories, this is as good
as most places in France. Their pastries are to die for, and their croissants perfect
for breakfast.

Expensive -of course - you have to pay for this kind of quality, but worth every penny!

Piccadilly break with tasty pain au chocolat and cappuccino. At hand, fast and good (not excellent) enough to return from time to time.

Enticed in for a light breakfast as Paul's is an attractive looking cafe with a range of breads, pastries and cakes on display.

We had a pain au chocolat which was fresh (though not warmed). The disappointment was the flat white, usually a good strong coffee theirs was very weak (while I write this review a take-away customer has returned to say she can't taste the coffee and can they put another expresso in).

Lastly, when I paid I was short-changed. If it was a mistake I can only say she showed no surprise and offered no apology which leaves me to my own conclusions.
