I stayed here for two nights recently. It's a great home base if your plan is to be outside hotel the entire day. Location is great (walking distance to Tate Modern, St. Paul's etc.) and bed comfortable, free and fast wifi...check-in / out efficient...other than that not much else...the bathroom and shower doesn't have a real door so make sure you are very comfortable with the person you are sharing the facilities...all in all for the location would recommend..but all means not cheap or anything.

Wonderful location in the heart of London, just in front of St. Paul Cathedral. The hotel is modern and comfortable, close by the underground, walking distance from restaurants and pubs. I stay here every time I come to London as a tourist or for business meetings in the City. Rooms are very clean and have free WiFi. Iron facility, washing machine/dryer and a little Gym are available. My room had also a small kitchen, perfect for my long stay! The staff was very welcoming attentive and discrete. Many thanks to Sandra and the management that made my stay so special, I’m looking forward to a return trip!

I have stayed here countless times and always find it very comfortable, clean, efficient and very conveniently located. The rooms are tiny (but Club Quarters regulars know this) but everything is very functional and modern. Free wifi is a big plus. One of the few hotels in London where after a long flight from NY, chances are your room will usually be ready than have to wait until 3 pm.

Second time of staying here - cupboard like room, terrible lighting - especially in the bathroom - and no plug near to a mirror, so difficult to do your hair and makeup. I found the heating system to be inefficient - either too hot or too cold. Pillows are awful!!
Staff are unwelcoming and not particularly helpful, if you are unused to the automatic check in service, don't expect the staff to bend over backwards to help you! I ordered a newspaper but had to remind them every morning as it didn't arrive. This branch of Club quarters lacks the charm and individuality of other branches in London and its decor is tired.
It is well located for the city and there are good restaurants nearby and St Pauls Tube station is a very short walk away.

I have stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions over the past few years. It is well located for the financial heart of the City of London, and is within 100m of the front of St Pauls Cathedral.

The hotel has been converted from a 1960's concrete panel built office block, it is not the most attractive of buildings, and you can easily walk past it as the entrance is very like the many office blocks surrounding it. Look for the flags hanging over the entrance.

The hotel is a good standard internally, although the non assisted machine check in takes a bit of getting used to. You type in your details, and scan your credit card, the machine gives you a room key and a receipt. It actually works very efficiently and quickly when checking out.

All the rooms are a good specification, with free WiFi, and iced water/ice available in the halls.

The double glazing is so good, I had always assumed that they switched the bells of in the St Pauls during the night. I had however always stayed in rooms to the West end of the hotel.

In December, I stayed at the East End, for the first time, overlooking Paternoster square. The bells are quite loud at this end of the hotel and go on all through the night, every quarter of an hour.

With this exception, we would stay in the hotel again. BUT only in the West end.

Room Tip: Avoid the East end of the hotel, closest to St Pauls Cathedral.
