The rooms are used as executive boxes on match days which means you get a great view of the pitch from every room! Rooms are clean and tidy with tea/coffee making facilities and a decent television/channels.

It's fairly close to the underground- about a 5 min walk and a 20 min ride into central London, for the price this is more than acceptable.

The breakfast was good, although the Buffett wasn't that quick to be replenished with hot food.

All in all a good hotel in a residential area, be warned though as on home match days I believe you have to leave your room at 8am and cannot get back in for the rest of the day.

its been a year now since we stayed at the hotel. we were having our reception close by and booked a room with pitch view to go to after our long day. we also had a few guests book rooms. our bags were dropped off earlier in the day because we were getting married late afternoon and was told we could store bags there and our room would be ready for us when we got there late evening. first the receptionist had no idea where our bags had been stored and we were waiting at desk for ages, we was given a key and told where to go we started making our way up only to be called by the receptionist to say one of us would have to go back down and sign a form which he had forgotten to give us (when he could have brought the form with him it was just a signature needed even tho room was already paid for and im sure it could have waited until the morning), i went back and done this and made my way again to the room, when i got there total disappointment we were in what i can only describe as a large cupboard with a window looking down on the car park, the side table was broken and it felt very closed in. i had specifically asked if we would be getting a room with a pitch view when we booked and was told we would. i emailed the hotel after our stay to tell them all our disappointments and am still waiting for a reply as to why we were given this awful room. i find this very rude and unprofessional of the hotel management and would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever again i have stayed in many hotels for the one night and would say every room has been better than the one we got for our wedding night. very disappointed AUG 13)

Room Tip: ask and ask again for a room with pitch view and keep checking even at check in

I arrived at the West Ham Hotel to a some what blank and dull receptionist. Who actually looked surprised I was their to check in. It was an early check in but the hotel was notified of this. Got to check in around 11. Was given the key and told what room number. Not really helpful when the hotel/ground is a little confusing. Room is clean with AMAZING view for football/Sports fans. Breakfast very very basic. Staff are okay not the most helpful but do try. Area is little run down. Safe during the day but at night would be dicey walking around. Great experience for sport lover.

Even though I'm a West Ham Fan so I may be a little biased but the hotel was really good value with an excellent breakfast & free parking as well. Good transport links mean you can get to Stratford quickly & easily from Upton Park Station. We were even taken through the players tunnel to the pitch for a quick tour of the ground.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 420 which had a good view of the pictch

The hotel is placed inside the West Ham football stadium and you have a perfect view over the football pitch. The room is spacious. The toilets are okay. If you are a football fan, you will find many references to the football world at the hotel.
Regretfully we were not allowed to open the balcony window, which allows you to enter into the stadium, for safety reasons. Also the wardrope cannot be used. Instead, they provide a device with hangers.
If you want to visit the O2 Arena or Greenwich area, you are very close and you have a variety of transport facilities. However, if you want to visit central London, it will take you a lot of time.
The breakfast includes a variety of products, but cheese and at least one sweet were missing. Amazingly in one of the days there was no bread left at 8:30 and no more bread was provided. Maybe it was an exception to the rule.
The meals at the restaurant hotel are okay. But it is the only restaurant I have been to where you had to pay for the meal before the cook strated preparing it.
The staff was very kind, in general.

An interesting location for a hotel - corporate boxes with beds that front onto the pitch. Beds were comfortable and the room nice and quiet. Good value at GBP70 per night including free parking. Breakfast at GBP10 wasnt great. Easy walk to the tube station (football ground / hotel is signposted from the station) and fast transit into Liverpool street.

Would use again
