“Outside looks dull - but go inside”

A stunningly beautiful church. We just do not have such magnificent places in British Columbia. Deeply moving. Sit quietly and soak in the ambience. No photography allowed. A must see.

“Breathtaking!”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

If you're a Catholic and visiting London, this is a must-see. It's so classic and knowing what all the Catholics endured in England (it was at one time very dangerous to BE Catholic there), you can celebrate what this structure represents. It's so perfectly appointed and everywhere you turn, there's something else remarkable and beautiful to see. Even if you're not Catholic, you'll find a gorgeous structure that is both traditional and inviting. If nothing else, take a few moments to pray/meditate - it's a lovely break from the hustle and bustle outside.

“History and religion together”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

The first Catholic Church built after the Reformation. It must be the largest parish church in the country. There is an historical story to this building, and it is certainly beautiful inside

“London Catholic Church”
Reviewed 29 January 2014

Just walking into this church is breathtaking! When reflecting on why I was there it just brought tears to my eyes. The mass was said in English but the old way where the priest's back is to the congregation. It's nice to see families bring their children in what we used to call "our Sunday best". I was in London for 2 weeks and both Sunday's made it to mass at this church. It was a short walk from my hotel and worth it!
