“Beautiful and lots to do”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 January 2014

Dulwich park is huge with great facilities; from tennis courts, rowing boats for hire and a duck pond, to exercise equipment and bikes for hire. I thought it was lovely to see a well maintained vegetable patch in the park. There is also a cafe and a building for events I believe.

The park is busy with families, runners and dog walkers. It is a beautiful place to go for a walk, have a picnic or sit and read a book. There is some shelter from the rain (as well as the cafe) but it would be best to go on a sunny day!

Easy to connect to the P4 bus route (between Brixton and Lewisham Station), although this service is not very reliable with busses coming approximately every 20minutes.

“beautiful park, disappointing food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 September 2013

Dulwich Park itself is really beautiful with great facilities for children but food at the cafe was disappointing as burgers were undercooked and chips were soaked in the oil.

“Lovely park, with a boating pond, water birds and a nice cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2013

Dulwich Park, has many interesting features and things to look at. A boating pond where it's possible to hire rowing boats. There's a board walk which is a great place to view the water fowl; we spotted a grey heron. With a drought garden, American garden, a park trail which you can follow to cover the interesting sights, and a nice café with indoor and outdoor seating - it's a very nice park to visit in the centre of Dulwich opposite the Picture Gallery.

“Beautiful park, perfect for a stroll or picnic, and dogs welcome too. However, toilets need sorting out!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2013

This is a beautiful park which is well looked after and perfect for a stroll or a picnic. In summer the flowers and shrubs are so colourful it's a lovely display. There are plenty of areas for picnics. Parts of the lake are penned off for birds and part of the lake is used for boating. Pedaloes and rowing boats are for hire at a reasonable rate. There is a children's playground where dogs are not permitted but otherwise dogs are able to run around so long as their owners are supervising them. There are also cycles for hire but they are very expensive so not really worth the money. Nonetheless, this is an option and there are stabilised bikes/carts for children. There are several tennis courts although you can wait a while for a court to become available. All in all this is a lovely park and i would definitely recommend a visit - perfect for a Sunday afternoon! The only drawback, which they really need to sort out, is the toilet facilities which are dirty, small and in very poor condition - really there is no excuse for not upgrading and bringing them to a decent standard.
