We stoped hear for three nights whelst visiting london. It was hard to find from the underground but reception staff wear great on check in, efficiant and welcomeing. We went to the room to find it clean, comftable and new. Decided to go for a meal that evening in the hotel so wang reception to find that the next table was not intil 8.45. Youngest was tired so could not wait. We decided to find a restrant out but, walking round the corner, we notied that in the thyme hotel restrant, there were tables avalible so, went in to the restrant and had a meal there. Beer was not proper and the meal was only averadge. Bathroom was good and beds were realy comftable, even the two extra childrens beds. You can not open the window aas it is locked for safety reasonds so there is airconditioning however, room was still boiling. Breakfast was good but extra however, children under 16 are free. Breakfast is eat as much as you liked. Old street underground not far and there is a bus stop prity much out side the main entrance.

Room Tip: Go for the higher rooms as they have great views of london.

Extremely clean, quiet, amazingly friendly and welcoming staff throughout (a special thank you to katie on reception who is lovely ;-). Comfy double bed for us and 2 single sofa bed style things for our children. Nice hot shower/bath. Fantastic breakfast which might seem a little bit pricey for adults, but is really good value if you have kids, as you get loads and they get theirs free. All you can eat with a fabulous range of cereal, cooked breakfast, toast, croissants& jams, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea/coffee. It's self-service and is very well organised, so there's no waiting around. Veggie sausages on request- nice touch! Check in/out took about 2 min each with no waiting around. Old street tube station is only 3 mins walk away. One of the least expensive family rooms we could find in central london. What's not to like? Other budget hotel chains could learn a few things from this place. It far exceeded our expectations and we will be back. I don't know who the manager of this place is but he/she deserves a promotion! Well done!

Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Fab all you can eat breakfast (and the kids ate free). Only had a pizza from the main menu which was OK but the kids menu is brill and great value. Lovely family room which was immaculately clean and more spacious than expected.

We only stayed for one night at this hotel over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. The Hotel was very clean, rooms smart and a decent size and also the bar reasonably priced. Didn't eat at the hotel but there were queues of people waiting to be seated we noticed while we were sitting in the bar area.

The underground wasn't working when we stayed so we ended up walking from Moorgate but the hotel was not well signposted and only found it when asked a local shop keeper.

I would and have recommended this hotel to other people as somewhere to stay if visiting London especially if you can get a room at the £49 discounted price.

Very friendly staff helped to make this a really enjoyable family overnight stay in London - especially as they hid a mini Easter egg in our room for both of our children! It was lovely and clean and new - which always helps too! And the beds were made up for the boys too. It was good value for money, and now includes 30 mins of free wifi per device, and if you have children the breakfast is great VFM as 1 child eats free for every adult - bargain!

Room Tip: If you have children then book the breakfast!

We stayed here for four nights, with two kids (4 and 1 year old). The hotel has not so much personality. Its modern and functional, but if you have tested other places in London, this hotel means a clean place with a full working complements, like bath, tv,... Room was ok. In fact it was a double room with two more beds, so there was no such more place. But price was also for 2. So we paid 2 for 4 beds.

Restaurant is ok. Breakfast is not cheap (8.5 pounds), but kids under 16 do not pay, and you can eat as much as you like and take some for the day in your bag. We also took dinner two times, and have kids choices, ever for babies (under 7 months and under 12 months menu). I had never seen something like that.

We also had to keep some medicines on fridge, and there is one available for costumers on luggage room, and it's always available, as service is 24 h at reception.

It's not close to London Main Attractions, but several buses and the Northern Line get you to all places. London has always long distances, so it's not a problem of this place, but for any place in the city.

For kids, we recommend Hackney City Farm (20 min walking). And on Sundays, Brik Lane and the Hackney flower market are also close.

For us, a good place.

Room Tip: I can say that our room did not face the road, so was really quiet.
