A short overnight stay whilst a friend visited Moorfields Eye Hospital. Perfect location and not too far either from the West End either without the prices all in all a perfect mix, we also took in breakfast which was not the original plan but so glad we did as the service and food on an early Saturday morning could not have been better

Room Tip: No overnight noise detected but those allergic to early morning deliveries should not choose the low...

Basic Hotel but spruced up a bit to seem a bit posher.
There is Wi-Fi that you are tempted with a 30min free trial then its £3 a day after that. Beer is good but the food is a bit overpriced for what you get

We are a family used to travel around Europe (with twins of 10 years old), and we very much enjoyed our stay at Premier Inn - Old Street in London in March 2014. All the most important aspects for choosing an hotel were there: service, cleanliness, Breakfast choice and quality, restaurant with late opening, close to tube station + buses (with 55 direct to Oxford Circus). For a reasonable budget, an excellent accommodation.

We travelled by tube to this hotel from Kings Cross getting off at Old Street station. The hotel is a five minute walk from the tube station and very easy to find. This part of London is a busy area with some bars and restaurants around it so there wouldnt be a problem finding somewhere to eat or drink. Also there is the restaurant/pub inside the hotel. We had already checked in on-line so the process was very easy when we arrived. The staff were very helpful and explained about the amentities of the hotel. We only stayed the one night and checked out the next morning, we asked a member of staff if we could leave our luggage bag with them for the day whilst we were out in London and would collect it later that day. This was not a problem as there is a designated room for lugage at the hotel and it was free of charge. We also had the all you can eat breakfast in the restauarant which was really nice and value for money. Overall I would stay at this hotel again and would reccommended it to anyone wanting to stay at this side of London.

Booked this hotel for 5 of us celebrating mum's birthday and what a great stay we all had. As soon as you walk in you are greeted warmly by staff who are more than happy to help and this continued for the rest of our stay, from reception staff, bar staff and restaurant staff. The hotel is lovely and clean, very fresh looking! The rooms were lovely and roomy with everything you could need and the beds and pillows were the most comfy I have ever slept in. There was some building work going on outside while we were there but never bothered us, didn't start too early and can't say we really heard it. We were at the top on the 12th floor so had an amazing view of the city skyline but think if your room was round the side you may just look into another building. The hotel was a 2mins walk from old street tube station (northern line) so was very handy placed. A few shops, bars, takeaways round about so not isolated at all. We used the bar every night we were there and drinks are very reasonably priced for london, staff were great and nice place to chill before bed. We had breakfast each morning which is great value for money, definitely kept us going for the day. Also had dinner one night which again was really good. All in all this is a great place to stay and we would definitely go back again.

I have never stayed in Premier Inn before but was very impressed. All spotlessly clean, very comfortable, staff lovely and friendly. Didn't eat in hotel but will try next time. Well rated. Location was excellent, just hopped on nearby tube to go anywhere. Walked back to hotel with ease from Old Spitalfield Market. Tripadvisor London downloaded on smartphone was great for directing
London novices. Used it a lot!

My wife and I stayed here on a business trip. The hotel is located within a few minutes walk of old street tube stop and has plenty of restaurants and bars within in a short walking distance.

The facilities in the hotel are everything you'd expect from a premier inn, clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent customer service and powerful showers.

I only knock one star off because the hotel only offers 30 minutes free wifi which in this day and age I think is unacceptable. Otherwise it's great hotel
