I'm a local, this is my regular.
Lucky me.

Great pasta, lovely risotto,
Fabulous olives,
The very best coffee.
Warm welcome from the waiting staff

Quite why anyone would eat in more overpriced, less good, corporate mock Italian brasseries in the area beats me.

This unusual little place is an unexpected oasis of italian excellence in what looks like a tiny coffee bar. However go downstairs into the restaurant proper underground and you are in for a rare treat. Most of the customers are italian which says it all really. The walls are great fun... One of the owners friends is or was a paparazzi photographer and the ones that didn't hit the front pages are there to admire... Some are amazing. The lasagne is worth every calorie and the prawns in Mediterranean sauce worth mortgaging the house for but share with your friend as it's a big portion....

Highly suggested from italians living in London! Food and atmosphere are amazing. Price on average for high quality food, especially for fresh fish!

Visited this place for a friend's birthday and it was a great experience. Great atmosphere and the host was one of the friendliest I've encountered. The birthday candle arrangement was seamless and funny at the same time - the host even joined in the birthday song singing. Food was also great so overall a great place to recommend to anyone heading to Camden for a visit.

We live round the corner of Luigi's, and we consider that we are very lucky. It's a traditional Italian restaurant with a very nice choice of pastas, meat and fish. Raphael - who is almost always there to welcome you- is a wonderful person, and when he speaks you're already in Italy. The food is excellent, I recommend my kids' favorite, the Gnocchi Quattro Fromaggi - Raphael will surely ask you if you want the fifth cheese!-, the Tuna fish (tonno) in particular, the Minestrone and basically everything that is on the menu!
So if you're staying in one of the surrounding hotels, don't hesitate to go there for lunch or dinner! You can't miss Goldhurst Terrace, it's the street right between the big Waitrose supermarket and the yellow Snappy Snaps, 1 minute away from Finchley Road tube station (zone 2)
To all people like us who are aficionados of Luigi's, let's write a review to let everybody know. Enjoy the food and the music!
