Adria Hotel @ near Hammersmith tube station is one of the best places to stay in London. The budget is low and the rooms are pretty good and clean and they serve a good break-fast also.

The main advantages were:

1. Very easy to access from the airport through tube.
2. Quick access to anywhere in London through tube.
3. Pretty clean and neat room with good toiletries.
4. House keeping was very good as room was clean everyday during our 1 week stay.
5. Good wifi connectivity.

Having said the good points here are some points worth consideration for improvement.

1. Staircases are narrow to take the heavy luggage up to the room.
2. Drinking water cans are mostly empty by night and they will not get filled until morning and on Sundays.

Room Tip: Take a room in the lower levels. There is no lift and staircases are narrow to carry your heavy bagg...

The hotel is in need of helpful and friendly staff, upgraded décor and a warning about not been able to sleep because the rooms are so noisy.

Unfortunately, I had no choice but to sleep the second night and had no energy to look elsewhere. There were times that I felt that a bomb had been let off in the room above. Windows were left open so you could hear the traffic and it was extremely noisy.

The stairs are so steep and don't expect any offer of any help from the hotel. Never again!

Room Tip: Go on the top floor, you may have a chance of sleeping!

Second time we've stayed here but this time it was horrendous! We were stuck in the lower level this time and I kid you not, our tent has thicker walls.

Our neighbour obviously had a lung problem as he spent hours trying to cough on up and we were forced to listen to every cough, wheeze and spit as they cleared an obvious fluid build up.

The only thing that drowned out the coughing, sometimes, was the volume of the TV.

The bathroom in this lower room was minute and I've heard of fitting a round peg in a squad hole but this concertinad doored cupboard has a round loo seat on a square bog, it was also quite dangerous as you dropped ya daks to sit on the loo as I bounced my head off the wall and towel rail at least once each.

Not value for money this time I'm afraid!

lovely room on G/F immaculately clean and comfortable,

breakfast next morning was rushed to say the least (well it would have been if they had their way) no sooner had we sat down and the process was explained, we were asked " full english yes"!!
i hadnt even got an orange juice yet and there was fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurts, cheese and ham to consider first. had i said yes to full english i would have got fried eggs and not poached which i ptrefer.

after my cold buffet choices i ordered my full english with poached eggs!

When it arrived my eggs were like snooker balls and i requested that i have some more freshly cooked and not overdone. The waitress said it was my fault for not stating how i liked them! I did not hear anyone in the restarurant informing the waitress how they liked their fried eggs cooked! probably didnt get a chance.

the bacon was very thin, 1 half of a cherry tomato, 3 small mushrooms and a sausage that i can only describe as the worst i have ever tasted in my whole life. (I spend approx 75-100 nights away per year with work) and baked beans. VERY VERY POOR!

We arrived in Heathrow at 6:30am and after traveling for 30 hours. We were looking forward to a sleep so we turned up out 10am. Our room was not ready but they gave a room which was ready however it was on the 5th level which was a bit of a workout for us 60 year olds. A couple of young Croatian staff girls helped us up the stairs with our luggage. Breakfast was good, Staff friendly.

Room Tip: We chose this Hotel primarily because it was close to the Hammersmith underground station which is o...

The room was neat & clean & had everything you need, however, having such a hard bed made for a very uncomfortable sleep and the walls were so thin that I could hear the person in the next room coughing, not to mention snoring all night!
