This Hotel is in a good location with friendly and efficient Staff .The Spiral staircase to the ground Floor is a bit of a Pain and wouldn't be good for anyone with walking difficulties. The Room was white Small and so was the Bathroom but For the cost and bearing in mind it's London overall it's a decent Hotel .

This hotel is very near Hammersmith underground stations . Very central. nice rooms and nice staff and they serve a good English Breakfast. So you can start your day very well. Westfield is also easy to reach from here.

Booked in for a couple of nights, as I needed to attend a business event in the area. Had a really good experience overall. The facilities are spotless and the customer service was great. Really good value.

Had the opportunity to stay at this nice little hotel for a week when we decided to go to London on a lark and a tight budget, and came away very impressed.

The hotel is located two blocks from two Underground stations, on the Hammersmith/Circle line and the District/Picadilly line, which made transport around London extremely convenient. It is worth staying here for that reason alone! Within walking distance is a shopping mall, grocers, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, etc. Very close and very nice. Especially welcome was a Fuller's Pub, The Stonemasons' Arms, which is an upscale pub with fantastic food and hand-drawn ale.

The hotel itself is ensconced in a row of Victorian-era flats, and has apparently expanded into the flat next door, where our room was. It is on a rather busy road through Hammersmith, and although the road is one way and one lane there is a lot of traffic during the daylight and early evening hours. However, it does quiet down in the later evening and we did not have a problem with the noise, especially with the windows shut. You should also know that there is large-scale construction going on across the street, and this does create some noise issues during the day, however since we were out mostly sight-seeing this too was not a problem.

Check-in was very easy and we were allowed early access to our room. We had also stored our luggage upon arrival, as our flight was early, and this too was not a problem at all. The room keys are all digital and look to be new. The entrances are locked with security cameras and intercom if needed.

Our room was a double and while rather small, was whistle-clean. It had obviously recently gone through refurbishment and had new kettle, desk, safe, TV with cable and easychair. The bed was rather stiff, but I got used to it quickly. The ensuite bathroom also looked brand new, with new shower equipment, glass doors, mirrors, toilet and sink. Water piping hot on demand, towels in very excellent condition. Again, not the largest of bathrooms but sufficient for purpose it is for. No complaints here.

Breakfast is served in the ground floor dining area and the owner cooks a great full breakfast if you wish. Continental breakfast is the other option, and I am sure she would cook you a couple of eggs alone if that was your desire. Very reasonable price as well for breakfast, and more than sufficient to get us on our way for the day. Again, cleanliness is the rule, not exception.

I know that this hotel won't be enough for some, as it is not a large hotel, the rooms are smallish and spare and the location may not be ideal. But if you are looking for safety, cleanliness, proximity to public transport and nearby shopping and eating places, on a budget, this is the place for you. I will gladly stay with the fine folks at Adria next time I find myself

Booking was a bit of an issue as when we called in relation to our booking confirmation, the guy on reception didn't really fully understand English that well and it made for a difficult conversation and informing him of the correct email address.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were asked for our I.D. (which luckily we always have) but also for the credit/debit card we paid with. None of this was mentioned to us as a requirement over the phone but it was already known by another receptionist that my mother had been the one who had paid for the accommodation. Why would I be carrying her credit/debit card? The male receptionist we encountered upon our arrival could have been a bit more polite as well as he did make some remarks that appeared to be unnecessary.

Our journey up to our room could have been better, we had 2 large and very heavy suitcases, 2 backpacks and 1 messenger bag to carry up three flights of stairs on our own, there was no lift and we only received assistance from the receptionist when we were practically outside our hotel room anyway.

When we eventually got up to our room, it was okay but to be honest, it could use some improvements. There was a scuff on the floor which had left a hole in the carpet, the window blind was fraying and the automatic light in the bathroom would randomly switch itself on and off despite nobody being in the bathroom.

We were also disturbed by another guest who decided it would be fun to loudly pound on our hotel room door at 12:10 at night. Luckily we were not asleep but we did not appreciate this disruption.

On the plus side, the continental breakfast was very good and had a selection to choose from which kept us going throughout the day while we ventured across the city.

Overall, I would probably not choose to stay here again unless I absolutely had to. I would rather pay a little bit more and stay elsewhere.
