One night's stay in one of the shared-bathroom single rooms on the lower floor. I wanted a quiet room at a budget price and this fitted the bill. I missed out on breakfast as I had a long lie. Very friendly reception and would go again if in the area.

Room Tip: Think about investing in a dressing gown if opting for the non-en-suite rooms as there is a bit of a...

This hotel lived up to its description - small but comfortable room, modern shower small sink area, very friendly staff, light, but complete breakfast (juice, coffee, ham, beans, toast and cheese). A short walk from Victoria Station on a quiet street near shopping and pubs. The very nice young women who made up our room knew we were traveling next by ship and made up towel animals each evening! Our room was up a short flight of stairs in the back. We did have a window and excellent weather.

Room Tip: The back was quiet and we did have a bath in the room

I was visiting London from Exeter to go to a gig with my son at Brixton Academy (At The Drive In). We needed somewhere close to the coach station to stay, and picked The Enrico. Great location, everything you needed on your doorstep (including a few really good charity shops). The hotel staff were really friendly, the room was small but fine and clean, beds good and pillows were great (pillows maketh the night for me!) Breakfast was a kind of mix of continental and beans on toast, my son wasn't up early enough so we went to a local cafe after for the full english experience. I have no complaints about The Enrico, would stay again no problem.

I stayed at the hotel with my grandchild. The room was very basic and small and in the basement. Our view was a wall and a plant. The room was clean; breakfast complimentary, but we did not like the breakfast. The staff were kind.

I am not sure where to start about this hotel.

Firstly their website and misleading photos - I think they are a bit of a stretch, maybe 10 years ago the hotel looked like that. The pictures of a sample room have also been taken in a way that do not display how tiny the room is.

The room was very, very small. It had two single beds with about a metre between them. Then there was a small shelf on one wall and that was about it. No kettle, bar fridge, TV, clock or lamp. The room was so small that there was no where to put our bags. We had to store them up-right beside the door. All of this wouldn't have been so bad, but we were expecting better.

The bathroom was ok, it was clean (minus the mold) and had a shower.

We awoke in the morning to have a luke warm shower and went downstairs for "breakfast". Mum ordered the full breakfast and received a couple of spoonfuls of baked beans, a slice of packaged deli meat and a slice of packaged cheese (for Australian readers - like Kraft Singles). It was revolting. Their portion sizes were very small and despite only having the continental breakfast, i only received half a bowl of corn flakes. I have looked at some of the other reviews, maybe this was a particularly bad day for breakfast, i don't know...

On a positive note, the next day we ate a really nice breakfast at a cafe down the street. It cost 5 pounds and i didn't eat another meal until afternoon tea.

Mum had emailed the hotel before our arrival and asked about leaving our bags in storage for the day we checked out (our flight wasn't until 10pm). They said that it would be no problem. On our last day we were informed that it would be 2 pounds each per bag and they would be left at one end of the hallway. How secure.

The positive things about Enrico was the lovely room cleaner and its proximity to Victoria Station.

Mum booked Enrico because it was cheap, but we both really regretted it. Pay a bit more and stay somewhere nice.

Although the rooms and hallways were tight in space, the hotel was in a good location very near Victoria Station. Breakfast was ok, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and sufficient enough to get some rest from our daily activities. I would recommend this hotel solely for the convenience and cheaper price.
