I came here in September 2013 with my wife.
Everything is clean, but everything is TOO SMALL: from the bathroom inside the room, to the bed, to the room itself.

English breakfast not too bad.
No noise from outside.

we stayed at this hotel as a result of our original hotel being overbooked. The hotel is literally opposite st pancras station so in a ideal spot, we were only here 1 night as we were moving on to another hotel in the west end afterwards. there isn't a lift so be prepared for lots of stairs, especially if you're on the top floor which we were ! The room was clean and we did have to share a toilet and shower but everywhere was lovely and clean . breakfast was included, a traditional English breakfast, very nice. a nice b & b, great price, a large hotel in the immediate vicinity was charging 7 times as much for a room. free internet access as well , yes if were staying in the area again we would return, the staff were great and very friendly and professional

This was not the hotel we booked in London originally but we ended up here after our original hotel cancelled our booking and expedia did not inform us of the cancellation. So after a few minutes of drama, the staff of the original hotel called this hotel and secured us a room (for the same fee) for the night. The lady at the reception was cheerful and friendly. When she heard about our horror story, she immediately made us feel reassured that we wont be homeless in London for the night. Because the rooms were not ready, we left our stuff and went sight seeing first. Afterwards we just came back to a fairly quick and efficient checkin.

The room was spacious enough although it was a bit tricky navigating the narrow stairs with luggage. The doors were a bit tricky to handle as they do not necessarily open in the proper direction. Beds were clean and the shower was okay. The room has no airconditioning but it did not matter to us since it was freezing in rainy London that day. However i think this would be quite hot if its in the summer. There is appropriate heating however.

The best part of this hotel is its location. It was literally about 200m from St. Pancras station. Perfect if you're catching the train. My friend and I missed breakfast since we were rushing so I dont know if it was as good as people say. Maybe next time , I'd get to try it. This hotel is definitely worth it if you want to be close to the trains in London.

Room Tip: ask for rooms in the lower floors. hard to lug up luggage in the narrow stairs

Really great value. Nice clean rooms, good breakfast, excellent location. Staff went out of their way to help even with situations that were not in their 'job description'. Service always with a smile. Location excellent for shopping and sight seeing. Highly recommended.

We stayed here in late August 2013 and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are small with limited space for large suitcases and the bathroom is also small so be warned if you are large, the shower is tiny! But I think the location outweighs any negatives as Kings Cross station is only 2 mins walk as is St Pancras if you need to catch the Eurostar to Paris. We used the Piccadilly line daily as many attractions are directly on this line. Just pick up an Oyster card ( initial cost £5 but load with 5, 10 or £20 and top up if needed) we put about £35-40 for a week each and it was all we needed. The cards are refundable also but you lose whats left on them I guess. We kept ours in case we come back another time!
If you are coming from Gatwick Airport, catch the First Capital Connect train which takes you directly to St Pancras. You can order a ticket online (£10), and pick it up at Gatwick Station from the pre purchase machine. You just need your credit card you used online and the code they email to you.
Getting back to the hotel, for the price, which included the breakfast and good wi-fi, it's a good deal. The bed was comfy, the room clean but dated but I expected this so was not concerned. It was reasonably quite, plenty of sirens but it didnt affect our sleep! We both enjoyed the breakfast consisting of a small sausage, egg, baked beans, toast, coffee and cereals, cheese etc. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. There is a laundromat about 5 mins walk away which is also handy to know. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our week and would definitely use this hotel again if we came back again.

Room Tip: There's no elevator so if you can't do narrow stairs, ask for a groundfloor. We were on the...

The owners were very receptive and polite as well as helpfull.the room was smaller than we had imagined and there were a couple of if we're honest minor points but not enough to knock it.
Breakfast was nice but could of been a bit more of it.the hotel is ideally situated fot sightseeing etc as kings cross stations is a stones throw away.
If I could get a bigger room at same rates I would return I would also recommend for short stay as we did.

Room Tip: Check what size your room is first
