“new and good located hotel”
Reviewed 19 February 2013

it is a small, new, clean and good located hotel. very close to holborn underground. there is a big park in front of the hotel. employees are very kind and helpful. they were very professional. it is business type hotel. the profile of the guests are high. and there is an elegant environment. there was high speed internet for free. in lobby there was free coffee, drinks, cips, food and similar stuff for free.
breakfast was extra fee in a japon restaurant down floor and we did not prefer. also there was no refrigerator in the room.

Stayed at Club Q for one night for boyfriend's birthday along with dinner & a theatre show. Have to say, the rooms are absolutely faultless... perfectly clean and delightfully modern with a range of amenities. Was given a few snacks and a bottle of wine with the hotels compliments, which I thought was a nice touch :) Sky TV, air con controls, lots of USB ports and plug sockets, a revolving table, long length mirror etc. No mini bar/fridge though or safe, which we found very surprising. Also, the hotels restaurant WABI looks very expensive... Checked out the breakfast menu... £9 for an omelette? Think we will be eating breakfast elsewhere. Lots of cafes and good food places nearby. Excellent location. Got room 812 which had a lovely view over Lincoln Fields, with views of St Paul's, the gherkin and the shard. Overall, a very nice stay and would fully recommend this hotel!

Stayed here for 5 days in February. Have been staying at their other hotel at Northumberland Avenue several times, and would like to try this hotel and location. It is new, and had a lower rate than CQ Trafalgar Square.
And the hotel did not dissapoint. The concept is the same at all hotels, so there are no surprises. You know what you get. And I got a room at the top, 1001. Nice view over Lincoln's Inn Fields, The Shard, St Paul's Cathedral among other things. And a quiet room it was! Did not hear anything from the corridor. But heard a distant rumbling noice, and found out it had to be the elevator! Which my room was next to, but soundproof walls it certainly was.
The beds are a little to firm, I would say if asked. And I do not like that blanket/sheet bedding system. A duvet is a much more civilized and clean way of doing it. Then you do not end up with sheet and blanket in a terrible mess in the morning, and you can wash the whole duvet cover. Who knows when those blankets are washed. But that goes for a lot of hotels outside Scandinavia. But duvets sells more than blankets in Britain now, I read. So, hopefully.....
The location is ok, with the tube very close. And not far to walk to the Strand, Covent Garden or British Museum. But personally, I prefer the Trafalgar Square location.
If you need to go to Paddington from here, and don't like the hassle of changing tube lines, an option is bus. I found bus numer 7 goes to Paddington, and stops at Russel Street close to Bloomsbury Square.
It was raining most of the time, so the hotel's umbrellas came to good use.

I stayed at the Club Quarters for a week on a business trip. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The workout room is decent but you can buy a discounted pass to a workout facility close to the hotel. My room was a decent size (especially for London). During the weekdays they provided snacks in the morning and the afternoon which was a nice treat. I'm not a coffee person but there is a really nice coffee maker in the lobby area. The hotel was really clean and staff was quite helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially for business travelers.
