“Just OK”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

This hotel has no frills, no elevator and unfortunately no charm. It is clean and the rooms are small. I have nothing bad to say about it. And nothing outstanding to say about it either. It is just "OK".

The hotel was very easy to find and the guy at reception very friendly.
We liked our room very much, I usually stay in much smaller rooms in London! Good shower and big bathroom. Small "kitchen" between bathroom and bedroom with kettle, fridge, microwave and free coffee and tea.

2 pubs and 2 restaurants opposite the hotel, Spaghetti Factory and a nice (but pricey) Indian restaurant within walking distance. Hotel is located only 5minutes to Marble Arch tube station.
We loved the place, especially if you travel to London City airport, very easy by tube/DLR (about 40mins). I will definitely return!

Room Tip: Room Nr 3 is not facing the main street and was surprisingly quiet! Maybe noisy if people check-ou...

Stayed in the 2 bed apartment for 1 night. Slightly disappointed that this was not ready when we arrived 1 hour after allowed check in time. Staff however were very helpful and friendly. The apartment itself is in the basement but still very bright. Lounge spacious but the other rooms a bit on the small side. Furniture a bit mix 'n' match. Bathroom well situated between the 2 bedrooms and excellent shower. Cleanliness not the best I've seen but this was mostly due to a lack of dusting and hoovering. Not sure if this was due to rushing to get room ready. The location and price were excellent.

The Hadleigh is a reasonably-priced hotel in a very convenient location. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a very nice bathroom. Reception was very friendly and helpful with advice for getting around. Small extra charge for voucher to eat breakfast in hotel across the street. There were 2 wi-fi networks, but since I was between them on the second floor my wi-fi connection was frustrating and undependable. I would stay here again, possibly trying to guarantee that I would be given a first floor room.

Room Tip: My room faced the street but I was not bothered by any noise.

Pros: Great location, clean, very central, welcoming staff and the bed was good too.
Cons: I found it a bit noisy the night I was there, the shower thermostat took a bit of getting used too and the price I paid was a bit above what I have paid before.

Room Tip: Stairs are steep and narrow - watch out if you have heavy/bulky luggage. Rooms facing the main str...

It was like staying at Grannies..old fashioned but clean, quiet and relaxed. Little en suite with three bars of soap ( no shampoo etc). But there was a hairdryer. good supply of decent tea and coffee in room.TV.Winding small staircase to rooms so remember if you have large luggage.Great location for everything...we walked to US embassy for visas but shopping, restaurants all around. Cost us £102 for one night for room. Two public car parks around corner - expensive though.a good choice of hotel for budget stay.

This hotel is very basic, bedrooms are not so spacious But you have enough space, it's not tiny. And it's clean - or it seems so. The bed was ok, not too bad. Bathroom is clean, new and very nice. There is nothing else: sleep, have a shower and that's it. But the position is perfect: 3 min walk to marble arch tube station, the hotel is in the middle of a residential area so you Don't hear noises from people or traffic. Staff is very very nice, english, they can speak perfect italian, ad well!!
