Hi,
stayed here 2 nights in Feb 2014.
The hotel is well presented, clean and well kept throughout. Our room was "compact" but adequate for a couple of nights. Nice en-suite. We had really strong gales 1 night and the old fashioned window rattled and was draughty but not really a problem. Quiet location.
Breakfast is basic; no hot items; but it's there if you don't want to venture out.

Bit expensive but this is London and it's very handy for Bayswater and Queensway tube or a walk in Hyde Park.

Recommended for a short stay.

We stopped here on our trip home from a family visit in December. The price was right and the reviews were good. The stay was better than expected-sure the room was small but they all are in London and this one was big enough for my husband and daughter. Located very near Paddington ($4pound cab ride) and a short walk from a couple of tube stations it was the perfect stopping point for us to pop out to visit friends but still stay close to Paddington for our return Heathrow express ticket for the morning.

I would stay here again but am half afraid to provide this positive review. London is such a tough place to find a reasonably prices hotel that is worth staying in I am now worried everyone will book this place and wear it out or cause the prices to skyrocket!!

Room Tip: We stayed in the larger room with a queen and twin. It worked great.

Stayed at the London House Hotel late January for 3 nights - a family of 4 including 2 teenagers. We had a basement quad room ( double & 2 single beds) and even with 4 large suitcases we all fitted in fine and had room to move around. Very modern bathroom and everything was spotlessly clean, nice bedding and plenty of towels etc, even the carpet had just been shampooed the day of our arrival, and was a little damp for an hour or so but soon dried. Great value for money, and in a fab place to explore London with the tube stations so close or on foot across Hyde Park and beyond. Staff at reception were great and answered any questions but we didn't really need to use them much other than arranging a taxi for our early morning departure. The area the hotel is located in has many shops and pubs and cafes all around on the Queensway. Marks & Spencer supermarket open till 10pm just up the road in the Whiteleys Mall and a laundrette right on Queensway. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but wandered along to Costa Coffee each morning. Have already recommended to several friends and when we are next in London this will be our hotel of choice.

We stayed at the London House Hotel for 3 nights. It was in a great location very close to both Bayswater and Queensway tube stations, making it very accessible to the centre of London. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was quiet, very comfortable, and really clean. It was a little on the small side but this is the case in most if not all London hotels, and we didn't spend all that much time in the room. The bathroom had a lovely shower and plentiful supply of toiletries and clean towels every day. We had the continental breakfast on our first morning and found it to be adequate and a little pricey in light of the fact that there was no hot food available. We hope to return to London House Hotel on our next trip to London.

Booked a room at this hotel for only £69 for a night and was pleasantly surprised. This was a basement room and I was slightly discouraged by reviews I had seen here, but the room suited our needs perfectly. It wasn't huge, but there was a good sized double bed with plenty of space alongside it, spacious closet with safe. The bathroom was small but very clean and slick, nice shower. Overall the room was fantastically presented and modern, couldn't fault it at all, and had no issues with noise.

The building is equally impressive from the outside and inside, we didn't feel as though we were on a budget at all. It's in a quiet location literally metres away from a bustling main road where there's plenty of shops and restaurants, including the Whiteley's shopping centre with a luxury cinema on the top floor. Bayswater tube station is two minutes away and Queensway, on the Central line, is just five.

First time in London, so we weren't sure what areas for hotel to pick from. The location of this hotel is awesome (lots of places to eat and close to the tubes stop). A five stars for location for sure.

Room was tiny, not much room for the bathroom. Need a little update and maintenance. Overall was okay for sleeping at night. We were always outside doing a lot of sightseeing.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we would go back and stay there again.

I am living in London right now, but wasn't going to deal with transport headaches on the overground on New Years.

I had stayed here in October when I first arrived and enjoyed it, and so reserved a room here again for a friend so we had a place to crash after watching the fireworks on the Thames.

The room was again cozy and clean. Very spacious, even though it is a small room. My friend and I agreed that the beds were very comfortable and after getting back to the hotel in the AM, it gave us a decent sleep in before checking out at 10am.

I really like this hotel and would happily stay here again. It is in a good neighbourhood and close to the tube and even on NYE it wasn't too huge a price in comparison to the hotel adjacent which basically charged the same and was not even close to being as nice.

It won't be my last stay here!
