Our twin room was tiny, barely room to walk around the beds, and too small for bedside tables - we improvised using the desk chair. Single beds also seemed smaller than usual - had to be very careful turning over that you did not fall off the edge. TV reception is poor and wifi is charged for. Our room was not cleaned after the first night - be sure to remove the DND sign, not just turn it around as is usual in other hotels. Rooms are currently being refurbished. Ours looked freshly painted, but the bathroom was very tired and low pressure shower. The hotel is a convenient location for kings cross, but with smaller rooms and higher prices than previously experienced, it is not the value for money it once was.

It was awful- there is tape on the carpet in the hallways, it stinks of paint in your room, there is paint on the carpet, the lifts are grubby. Do not stay in this hotel, it was £169 for the night to end up with a headache from paint fumes. It is also eally noisey with doors slamming. No toiletries, no bedside cabinets, you have to get out of bed to turn the light on/off!

The hotel is very convenient and central location near the Kings Cross/ St. Pancras tube and main line stations. Recently refurbished - very helpful staff and very reasonable price indeed if you book well in advance.

We stayed for one night and had a nice stay. Even though the corridors needed redecorating the hotel rooms were clean with comfortable beds and 30 minutes of free wi-fi, besides breakfast was really good value for money for tourists like us who wanted to walk around the city all day The only thing which was a bit annoying was the noise in the corridors but it didn't last and we had a good night sleep.

Hotel and rooms were dirty, entire building was very tired. Numerous items did not work and the basics were missing from the rooms. Even the TV did not work, not that this bothers me but it is symptomatic of a poorly run hotel.

For rooms that are sold as 'refurbished' this is only a lick of paint. The WC was brown from years of use and the bathrooms don't seems to be part of this refurbishment so don't be fooled.

The hotel is dirty and needs to be fully refurbished rather than the poor job so far.

Avoid at all costs.
