The reception and bar/cafe were nice and clean. The hallways need a paint job and reno. The room, though clean needs a good reno. The bathroom tap in room 216 was loose and didn't work well. Room was hot in August, but a fan was provided which made it comfortable. Provided instant coffee and tea with a kettle was nice.Computer terminals in reception area are slow and unstable... the flight check in took 4 pounds and 45 minutes instead of being a 1 pound and 5 minute task. Book several months ahead for the very cheap but not refundable super saver rate. Wi-Fi is free for the first 15 minutes or so.

We stayed for 3 nights to visit London, the staff were friendly and helpful.
We had 2 adults and a 14 yr old in a room and there was plenty of space, the breakfast was lovely, you should have this.
All you can eat and the it wasn't any of the 'continental' meats stuff going on, proper bacon and nice sausages.
On the first day the shower didn't have enough pressure and my initial shower was a bit hit ad miss, but on arrival to our first morning breakfast we were asked if everything was ok and we mentioned the shower, it was promptly fixed and never had a problem thereafter.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to get out and about London, it has a close proximity to King Cross St Pancras and that is pretty much all you need to see everything.

Room Tip: Ask for a view and a large room

No fuss hotel. Had a lovely stay here. The rooms were very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. 1 downside was the shower in our room (5th floor). The water pressure was very low. We didn't bother changing rooms as the we were quite comfortable in the current one.

the hotel is a bit dated but well maintained and is easy to find with its location for getting around easy with public transport, there should be hairdryers in rooms and bigger TVs on the walls. I had a quite big room but the room wasn't used well, there was just one chair in a doubleroom and no towel for the bathroom floor. The showercurtain was 10cm too short-the water was everywhere on the bathroom floor. There was constant ventilation from the bathroom and the air condition sometimes made strange noises without being on. It would be nicer to open a window to let in normal air-air condition is quite sad...breakfast was OK-there should be more yoghurt and fruit and perhaps some cheese...the bed was comfortable and there was not too much noise from the street or inside the hotel- I recommend this hotel

A Large centrally located Travelodge near Kings Cross/St Pancras Railway Stations about 10 Mins walk away, also well situated for other London attractions. Checkin staff very efficient and helpful, have stayed here on other occasions. Hotel was very busy and seems fully occupied. Rooms and public areas very clean. Beware of Room 521, the bed light switch is some distance from the bed so you cant switch off the bed light whilst lying on the bed.

Ok, I know. Travelodge. Budget hotels, so the old adage, you get what you pay for is true. However, it did have some very good points. Very friendly and helpful receptionist called Chris on the desk, room was fine - a bit in need of a good makeover, but clean. Other staff all very friendly and helpful. However, please, please, Travelodge management - please provide more staff on the breakfast shift. The ones who were there were very helpful , but extremely overworked. Both mornings, we had to chase after plates, bowls, milk, fruit, culterly, serviettes. They were all replenished on request, but poor staff were run ragged.

Room Tip: top floor has a reasonable view over the city.
