“New, spacious and clean”

Stayed here for the weekend on leisure. The location is perfect if you want to combine shopping at Westfield mall and downtown sights as you can choose either Jubileum or Central line to the city. The mall and the Underground are within 5 min walking distance. The sights over the Olympic village are also awesome.

Service here was really friendly and our expectations were exceeded by far. Special thanks to Rafael who took care of the water damage incident in our room really professionally.

The breakfast room, and the reception are awsome
with view over London city. Unfortunately the selection of breakfast goods was quite narrow, but I guess it´s the concept of Staybridge. If you are used to a wide variety of breakfast products you´ll disappointed. Sorry to say, that the quality of the breakfast was quite poor.

Despite of the disappointing breakfast experience I would definitely recommend this hotel both for leisure and business!

We stayed one night as a 50th Birthday Celebration in London. We had a lovely room with a stunning view on the 12th floor, beautifully furnished with the added bonus of a kitchenette area with fridge and microwave. The lounge and dining areas are really nice and benefit from the panoramic views over the Olympic Park and the City, particularly stunning at night. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the location is just brilliant, adjacent to the Westfield Mall and just a short walk to the rail links. Only negative point was that we only stayed for one night, just BRILLIANT - hope to return again in the future.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 12th floor have fabulous views and this is the floor where the Reception Area and Loung...

We stayed with our 2year old daughter for a week during half term. Excellent location next to Westfield mall and staff were all excellent. Beautiful views of the Olympic stadium and breakfast was just perfect with a real homely feel in the lounge. A special mention to Debbie who makes you feel right at home. Kitchen perfect when travelling with younger kids and has all utensils and cutlery provided.

Wifi did not work in our room and we had to sit in the reception/lounge area to check email or book any attractions. This will hopefully get sorted out soon and was only reason I did not give 5 stars. Also we were not aware that suites were not serviced at the weekend but as soon as we asked for it to be serviced it was sorted out with a smile within minutes. We will definitely consider staybridge suites again.

I have stayed in different hotels around London, including Holiday Inns/Hiltons/Marriotts/Guomans, and can say that Staybridge Stratford offers one of the best and value for money experience.

PLUS sides:
- Brand new (as of 2012)
- Spacious rooms including kitchen+utensils (maybe it's still new or housekeeping work is good, there is no strange odour due to a kitchen in room)
- Complimentary internet and breakfast (but pretty basic, hot choices include scrambled egg/bacon/hash brown/tomato)
- Extremely polite and helpful staff
- Cosy reception area with fabulous view overlooking the Olympic Park, accompanied by 24 hour complimentary tea+coffee.
- Cheaper than the averagel rates of mainstream London hotels
- proximity to Stratford tube station, can get to Central London within 20 mins via Central line.
- plenty of shops and restaurants around as the hotel is within the Westfield Stratford City shopping complex

DOWN sides
- really cant think of any. Maybe its apparent out of centre location.

I will definitely return!

We stayed for two nights last week after the jubilee and found the staff very welcoming and a clean new immaculate room. The view across the Olympic park was spectacular especially at night. On Thursday the manager's welcome party was excellent, we loved the reception area and enjoyed a nice glass of wine and snacks while we took in the splendid view. Breakfast was delicious and varied including a full fry up, with very attentive and friendly staff who really could not do enough to please. The whole concept makes you feel as though you are at home, very comfortable and relaxed. With the Westfield centre just below and very good transport links to central London this is an ideal base and we will definitely be back.

We've just stayed for the Jubilee weekend - I wanted to combine shopping at the mall with seeing the royal pageant on the Thames. The suites are ideal - much more comfortable than a regular hotel room due to all the conveniences that have been included - the kitchen area, the laundry room, the included hot buffet breakfast, the 'pantry', the coffee and tea on tap. All with incredible views and then when you tire of the those, popping downstairs to Westfield, with its myriad of shops and restaurants.
I had concerns that it was too far out of central London but there are multiple ways of getting about. At one end of the mall, near M&S is Stratford station and the tube line. The central line takes about 25 mins to Tottenham Court Road. At the other end of the mall near Waitrose is Stratford International and its super train, the 'Javelin'. For about £5 you can be at St Pancras in 6 minutes! This is going to be a great service during the Olympics.
So, in summary, I'd stay here every time I visit the city now. The staff are lovely, the location fabulous, the transport a doddle and the suite just great. It's better than a home from home.

Room Tip: High floor facing the stadium

We stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel excellent with a few exceptions. Had trouble getting clean towels. Also we weren't able to use the phone in our room. The fire alarm went off several times and startled us while we were napping. Apparently a technician was doing some work we assume since the hotel is so new but would have appreciated a heads-up. We thoroughly enjoyed the terrace with views of the Olympic venues and the city not to mention the view from our room. We did have some trouble finding the hotel since most people in the area hadn't heard of it and we weren't aware that it is in the same building with Holiday Inn. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this part of the city. Westfield Mall is excellent also.

Room Tip: All rooms have an excellent view.
