We stayed three nights in a standard suite overlooking the new Olympic park in Stratford. Room very comfortable and while obviously new in top condition. Two minutes walk from Stratford station and then easy access to central London including Oxford Street but why: if you want to shop the Westcliff shopping centre is outside your front door. An excellent breakfast each morning (included) and different combinations as well. Really helpful and friendly staff. Will be happy to return.

Room Tip: Even numbered rooms have views over Olympic park.

Great stay, with really amiable and helpful staff. Stayed for 3 weeks and usually stay in Canary Wharf when here on business. Stratford City is a much more vibrant destination with a plethora of amenities on the doorstep. Commute to Canary Wharf only being 7minutes.
Views across London are stunning from 12th floor terrace, where they hosted a comp BBQ for guests!
Added bonus of breakfast daily and a gym, never stayed in a serviced apartment like it! Great concept, see you again in September!

We stayed in a king suite last weekend whilst my daughter attended the Hackney weekend. This hotel is new and feels nic and new too. Its so easy to find standing tall within the Westfield shopping centre. 2 mins from both stations in Stratford. My daughter caught the 6 minute high speed train from St pancras and i drove to Tottenham Hale and caught the 10 min train straight in. Was a lot cheaper then the £25-35 per day parking. When you entre the building make sure you use the right hand side elevators as the ones on the left take you to the Holiday Inn that shares the building. Check in/out and the staff were superb, very freindly and attentive. The suite itself was very spacious and luxurios. Lovely kitchenette with everything you need (including a dishwasher) , free tea and coffee although they also serve this free day and night in the residents lounge. Big apple TV, relaxing chair and table and a huge very comfy bed. The bathroom was really nice with a massive shower and very nice toiletries. There is even a laundry basket in your room if you want to pop to the launderette down the hall. You can purchase food from them or M & S or Waitrose that are next door to cook or The Holiday inn have a restaurant serving food. The free breakfast was great, all you can eat, hot and cold and the even provide takeaway bags if you want it in your room instead. The views are stunning as they overlook the olympic park. The hotel is right in the middle of the westfield centre and all its eateries so you will never be bored or go hungry. I would def stay here again and prefer this to central london as the connections are so good.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend as we were at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend so the location was perfect. Whilst the hotel is a little out of the centre of the city, Stratford tube station is two minutes walk away, and the location near the Olympic park would obviously be perfect for the Olympics.

Since the hotel is brand new, everything was spotless. We stayed in a Studio Suite which was pretty small but well laid out, with a small kitchen area that felt separate to the bedroom. The bathroom was great - huge shower and large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, and plenty of towels.

The bed was quite firm but really big and comfy. I really liked having the kitchen and the hotel really does feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was laid back - no waiters to speak of but a serve yourself area full of bread, pastries, hot and cold drinks, fruit, cereal and hot food - sausages, hash browns, eggs and beans. A nice touch at breakfast were paper cups and bags for a takeaway breakfast (or a few extra croissants to eat later in the day!).

Service was also top notch, so all in all, a fantastic hotel and a great bargain before the Olympics start!

Great location and a brand new hotel. The rooms are just like the other Staybridge Suites - spacious, well equipped, fantastic kitchen/bathroom and sparkling clean. Free Wifi works, albeit slowly at times. Breakfast is good, although at weekends it becomes a little crowded when everyone typically eats between 9-10am. On weekdays people tend to eat spread between 7-10am so much calmer and spacious in the kitchen.

Views from the hotel are awesome... with rooms on floors 8 to 12. Try and request a room that faces the Olympic park - you can also see the Millennium Dome (O2 arena), Canary Wharf, Ghurker, and the new Shard and the even newer Mittal Orbit. If you get a room facing the other side, you can still enjoy views of the city from the reception-level lounge

Parking... the Westfield car park (the recommended car park) is now closed until after the Olympics (mid September 2012) and the next nearest car park (the older Stratford Shopping Centre - £25 for 24 hours) is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. This is fine, but as it's the only car park near Westfield, it was very busy. Importantly, this will also be closed from 21st July until after the Olympics.

So... we used ParkAtMyHouse.com - a website where people can rent out their driveway. There are several people near the Westfield centre who are renting their driveways - we parked at one person's house just 12 minutes walk from the hotel and was very convenient, and also cheaper than the car parks.

In short we loved everything about it - the rooms, the location, the views etc. We will think about staying here next time we go to central London - a great location for Westfield and just an underground trip away from the middle of town.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the Olympic park, as high as possible.

This hotel is brand spanking new, part of the Wesfield Shopping complex in Stratford and next door to the Olympic Stadium.

First impressions were that teh directions were not clear enough and I had a tour of the Westfield complex bfore I found the hotel. But, once I had found it I was suitably impressed. The reception area is part of a series of areas interlinked to form relaxing and eating spaces. The reception is unexpectantly on the top (12th) floor. From here you can relax and enjoy the scenary of the City or the Olympic complex laid out before you.

This hotel was a new concept for me. It is a building full of suites, which have self contained kitchen and cooking areas. From close to reception you can buy produce from the fridges or off the shelf - milk, fruit juices, cans of beans, bread...loads of stuff.

Ther room was wasted on me to be honest. I was on a whistle stop one night business stay, getting in late and leaving early with a dinner out in between. Not enough time to appreciate the spaciousness and comfort of the suite. it had a living area with sofa and TV, kitchen space, separate (and roomy) bedroom with bathroom. I could have spent a lot of time there comfortably.

Breakfast was a plentyful and varied and a bit DIY, in a nice way. Bit like being in your own kitchen. For example, fruit juices were kept in a large fridge in 2 litre bottles, pour what you want, not dispensed. Same with milk and other things.

I really liked the relaxed almost home from home atmosphere, it was spacious, spotless and comfortable beyond belief and super convinient for transport. But, all this comfort and convinience comes at a price....and a very reasonable one it is too. V. Impressed with VFM. As always the question would I go back...Yes, and I am next time for more than one night so that I can take advantage of the comfort space.

This is a brand new hotel in one of London's newest neighborhoods. It is located within one of Europe's largest shopping centers, with great shops and restaurants. The hotel is well organized, and everything inside is brand new. A great place to stay once the Olympic games are over, with good travel connections to Central London and London City Airport.
