“Great location/price in London”

We booked a room that included the basics such as towels and en suite. The room was modern, clean and small. Some of the space and energy saving features are pretty cool. It is located very close to public transit, and directly in the neighborhood we wanted to be in. They charge for everything (similar to the former Ryanair model), but as long as you pay attention to what you are booking, the prices are very fair. We had a 4 star hotel nearby another night, and I was happier with Tune. The basic room is probably a bit small if you are planning to do more than sleep and store your stuff there.

after reviews of this hotel i was a bit cautious about staying here but I'm glad i took the risk the hotel is everything it says it is its clean modern and reasonably priced the location is excellent close to the Tube station and right beside a gem of a market place .The staff are nice,friendly and helpfull I would have no prblem re-visiting

There is nothing at all fancy about this hotel. The room is pretty much like student digs ! Its very clean though and the shower is great. There's a few hangers over the mirror in the room but no drawers to store anything so its only really useful for one night or two. The bed is comfortable and check in is quick. Check out is simply handing in your card cause there are no extras that you can charge to your account !!

The pub next door is pretty good and you are so close to Liverpool Street its brilliant if you have business there . When they say no frills they really mean it .

Good central location 5 minutes away from Liverpool Street Station within the trendy Shoreditch area and lots of eateries nearby.

I found smiling happy staff who seem genuinely happy within their jobs and clean modern lobby create an excellent first impression of the property. My double room without a window was light, clean and comfortable with good quality fixtures and fittings great for one person, but 2 would be a struggle. The bed with the excellent quality bedding was very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet on the first floor although I could hear a slight rumble of a train passing through. But this did not disturb my sleep in any way. The en suite shower room was great. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but these can be purchased from reception at a normal high street prices.

It should be noted, yes the hotel does charge extra for towels but you are provided with a big soft fluffy bath sheet, soap and shampoo for £2 per stay. Other chargeable extras are television, hair dryer and also daily room cleaning if you are there more than one night.

I would definitely stay in a Tune hotel again and I will definitely recommend the hotel chain to others.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on a higher floor as you may be disturbed by the underground trains passing underneath...

The rooms here are very basic (bed, no table/chair, small bathroom) but they are very quiet (I had a great night's sleep) and the location is fantastic, especially for anyone travelling to Stansted (the bus stop is only a few mins walk away)

Be advised that you have to pay for *all* extras, this includes if you want to check in even a few minutes early - myself and about ten other travellers arrived at 2:50pm and were told we'd have to pay for those extra ten minutes, so we all waited. So if you're coming to this hotel, don't do so until after 3pm sharp!

This is the second time I've stayed at Tune Hotel Liverpool Street - it was still great with clean, comfy rooms, good service and represented excellent value for money.
The rooms without windows are very small so if you're staying more than one night I'd recommend upgrading to one with a window, although it was perfectly fine for our one-nighter.
If you do stay, a must visit is Spitalfields Market which is just around the corner.

we only paid £50 for having a room without a window but this did not compromise on quality. it was only a quick pitstop but what excellent value for a friday night in the city. hotel is easy to find and only a short walk from Liverpool Street, brick lane and Spitalfields market, would certainly stay again for this price. the only problem is the missus thinks no window would stop you breathing!!!!
