“The Best Public Transport in London”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

Eventhough DLR doesn't cover a whole London but it is the most comfortable public transport in London. It has more space than Tube, faster schedule than Overground and Dockland area tour, since it;s not underground.

I'd always love to sit in the most front cause I feel like a the roller coaster for kids.

“Canary Wharf has no signs for transferring between Tube and DLR”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

Though our overall DLR experience was very good, the Canary Wharf stations have next to no signs. We spotted one arrow pointing us in a general direction to transfer from the Tube to the DLR, on our way towards the direction we thought we should be going, we met another befuddled tourist trying to find the Canary Wharf DLR station. We had to ask some workmen for directions.

When we arrived in the station, there did not readily appear any directions for swiping our Oyster cards, we couldn't even find the machines. We had to ask more people where these were located.

Once we finally got all of this sorted, all went as smoothly as expected. Please put up more signs!!

“Very good service”
Reviewed 20 June 2014 via mobile

Very good service but a bit of a safety concern with no driver although it has been deemed safe but if you want a drivers eye view of the tracks ahead it's the best in the business

“Good Transportation Option”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

The Docklands Light Railway is a modern transportation railway to get around. It can be very busy, especially in the mornings and afternoons (since it serves Canary Wharf - where most of the big banks have their head offices). You can get some good pictures as it is all above ground.

If you are just visiting London for a few days, I wouldn't go out of your way to use the DLR as it doesn't have that same history and engineering magnificence that the London Underground has. Furthermore, the trains don't run as often as they do on the Underground!

“Reliable, good service but busy!”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

This service can get very busy at peak times - i.e. morning when people are going to work, which is expected. Don't have to wait too long for it but have to remember when to get off to connect at stations with the tube. Good view when on as you get to see a fair bit of London whilst travelling.
