This hotel lived up to all our expectations after we had looked on their website, and there are plenty of staff to look after you. Room price at the book-ahead rate was OK for London, but breakfast was expensive at £19 each, so we ate out, there are several cafes very nearby. We will come here again.

I booked the St. Ermin's for a long weekend with my family (2 small kids). We took the family room, with 2 bathrooms. We had a very, very positive experience. The hotel is very attractive, with an historic building very well refurbished. The room was perfect for us, with very confortable beds and the service even better. We had very good breakfasts (included in the room fare) in a nice location (the Caxton grill). The hotel itself is very conveniently located at walking distance (litterally) from Victoria station, Westminster and the London Eye. For thriller fans, it is just opposite New Scoltland Yard.
Our experience was definitely excellent and I strongly recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from a super weekend in london staying in St Ermins.I had booked throught alpharooms.com and got a really good deal. The hotel is fantastic, and the staff are superb, happy, helpful and professional.I have stayed in alot of hotels and have never come across staff that seem to love what they do ,well done to the managment as it comes from the top down. The interior decor is fab and so is the attention to detail, contentinal breakfast is great and you can upgrade for £5 ! The rooms are lovely ,not huge but you are in central London and close to everything, with the tube station just around the corner. We had bar food one night and the standard was also super and very well presented ( you have to try the buffalo milk ice cream ,taste sensation !!! ).We were with friends on this trip and they were also really delighted with the hotel. I felt it necessary to write this review as we were so pleased and it made our trip special .We will recommend this hotel to friends and visit again with the family.

I was in London on business and the local office suggested the St. Ermins. It is a beautiful hotel, in a great location. The rooms are small and uninspired, but have all the basics. The restaraunt was good, not great, but certainly fine for our first night.

My wife and I spent a Saturday night recently at St Ermins Hotel booked through Voyages Prive, we arrived at 2pm in the afternoon, checked in, no problems, lovely staff, and then went off for a boat trip from Westminster to Tower Pier which was included in the deal. lovely sunny day, really nice trip. Our room on the 5th floor overlooked the entrance drive, it was bright clean and very comfortable with a flat screen tv and a very clean bathroom. We had booked a meal in the Caxton Grill for 7.30,and after a glass of champagne we were shown to our crisp bright table, the food was superb as were the staff, nothing too much trouble. At night the entrance drive is lit with twinkling fairy lights. After our meal we took a stroll down to Westminster Abbey and returned past New Scotland Yard before retiring. Breakfast next morning was very good, with an ample bar plus hot dishes to order. Before checking out we took a tour of the hotel, the architecture is opulent with fabulous ceilings and plasterwork, the entrance foyer looks like a set from the musical Wild Violets. One of the most pleasant visits to a London Hotel ever. Bravo St Emins, you have got it just right.

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the main entrance.

Our family just got back from a fabulous trip to London for Spring Break. We loved the St. Ermin's Hotel. The location was great. We could walk to Westminster Abbey, The London Eye and hop on the Tube at St. James Park easily. The staff were helpful. We booked a one bed room and they suggested we take the room with two. We still had a hard time fitting our big American luggage in the room so if you have a family of 3 or more upgrade to the family room for extra space. You'll be glad you did.

We had dinner one night in the Caxton Grill after a long day. They were very friendly and the food was great. They have a kids menu too.

I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends.

Family of 3 from Dallas~

Room Tip: Book a family room if traveling with children.
