Another pleasurable stay - staff remember your name and are so accomodating. It's always a relaxing change from the usual hotels in London. A great spot for getting around and quiet enough to get a great night's sleep. Always my first choice when I need to be in London for business. Highly recommended.

We stayed at St. ermins for the last leg of our Honeymoon, and what a treat! We had booked through an agent and on their recomendation of a deal - and in my experience, sometimes these deals mean you are in the "non-renovated" and "non-pictured" area of the hotel. Not in this case! What a beautiful hotel and location. Feels tucked away fromt he hustle and bustle of the city but still right in the downtown area. Food was exceptional and we had great service. The rooms were gorgeous and luxerious, but the standout for us was the bathroom; when travelling Europe, the washrooms are always cramped, but here the shower was luxeriously appointed and large enough for 2! My only compaint is that the sink was pedistal style and there was nowhere to put any toiletries, and there was no where to put your clothing - you had to live out of your suitcase. But these are all minor for a great atmosphere, comfortable beds, excellent food and service. I would definetely stay here again.

I recommend St.Ermin's Hotel. It's a fine and luxurious hotel, boasting of a very good position. In fact, many tourist attractions are reachable on foot and this avoids the confusion and stress of the metro. The entrance and the hall are very monumental and immediately striking: there are two large staircases decorated and white. Common areas are beautiful and well kept.
The room and bathroom were small but well kept and clean.
All the services (breakfast,...) are good but keep attention for expensive extra .

Beautifully renovated hotel with an excellent location in central London. A stone’s throw from Buckingham Palace and other sites—just around the corner from the tube to take you anywhere else you want to go. The staff was most helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants, etc. The rooms are very modern—we got upgraded to a larger room. It was very well appointed---modest in size, but probably average for European hotels, and a small bathroom. Very quiet for a hotel in the big city. A very good choice for London.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the courtyard side if city street noise bothers you--just one side of the hotel is...

Each Accor MGallery property has its own character - St Ermin's is no exception. There is the feel of a 'club' about the public areas, with friendly staff keen to be of service. Because of our Club Accor status we were upgraded to a suite, with a view over the street and the front of New Scotland Yard, with its iconic sign, which is better than some of the other room aspects of the hotel.
The hotel room presentation was excellent, suggesting possible recent refurbishment, and the bed pretty well guaranteed a good night's sleep.
In addition to the restaurant, there is a bar menu serving excellent lighter meals and a traditional afternoon tea.
There are plenty of spaces for sitting in the public areas of the hotel.
St James's Park tube station is virtually next door, and there are two Starbucks as neighbours. It is 5 minutes walk to Westminster or St James's Park, and the area immediately around the hotel is reasonably quiet.
This hotel is an excellent base for a stay in London, particularly if quieter environs are desired, rather than a noisy road.
We will certainly stay at this hotel again when visiting London.

Room Tip: Room aspects vary considerably - it pays to check.

We've got a "classic" room, although the booking confirmation (booked with Orbitz) stated "superior double" and the closest one on the hotel's web site was "superior queen plus".
The classic room is a really small room featuring a queen bed with one nightstand (there is no room for the second one), table, bench and а bathroom. There is very little room to store your luggage. The bathroom had no bath tube, only a rain shower. Towels hang just beside the toilet seat. And finally our room had a view of some littered inner space.
Some more information: internet access is 7 pounds for 24h, breakfast is 25 pounds per person (not including tips). There are places within 3 minutes walk from the hotel where you can have a wonderful traditional English breakfast just for 5 pounds per person.
The greatest thing about this hotel is the location. It's within a short walking distance from the Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus, etc. Also there is a subway station just around the corner.

We stayed here for 8 nights recently and enjoyed our stay very much. The location of the hotel can't be beat, it is close to St. James tube and in a very quiet area. The front gardens are very nice and the renovations to the inside make this a welcoming hotel (the lobby is incredible). The rooms may be a little smaller than North American rooms, but we had no problems, the beds were very comfortable (appreciated after a long day of sightseeing) and the bathrooms were updated, clean and well stocked. Our package included the continental breakfast, this consisted of various fruits, juices, breads, cereal and yogurt. You could also order off the hot menu for an extra charge. Unfortunately we did not use a lot of the amenities at the hotel as we were off sightseeing every day and usually got back later in the evening. They had wifi for a charge or you could get a voucher for 15 minutes use at the business computers in the lobby. All the staff that we dealt with were friendly and warm and welcoming, especially staff in the dining room for breakfast service and in the bar area in the evening.

My husband and I would stay here again without any hesitation and we would recommend to our friends or family .
