Very good hotel. Nice room and facilities, besides being charmy. Very well localized, near to the most important touristic places in the city, where you can go by foot. Hotel's people are very much nice. Breakfeast is ok but it might be cheaper. The point is not necessarily to pay for that, but the fact that you can have a nice breafeast outside for half fo the charged price. Finally, I cannot see any sense to charge about 15 pounds a day (!) for having access to the Internet. These two aspects are why don´t evaluate the hotel as excellent.

Great location for seeing sights of Westminster. Hotel has great ambiance from the private drive to the striking hotel lobby to the room. My wife says it is an intimate setting. Room was clean, well appointed and bed was very comfortable.Staff were great (including doormen, desk clerk, bellman, concierge and restaurant staff). Restaurant was great as well. Pubs, restaurants and many notable sights were within walking distance and we felt safe in the area.I will stay here again on my next trip to London. I generally use the word "great" sparingly, but it applies to this hotel.

What a great find this hotel was! Around he corner from St James tube station, and walking distance to London eye, Westminster abbey, Buckingham palace, Big Ben, etc. great staff (the concierge was really helpful and friendly). I can't comment about the food, as we ate at a great pub across the road.

It is worth the extra to stay here, and you save on taxis. Treat yourself and make your stay in this amazing and chaotic city really convenient and central.

REALLY comfy beds too

We had a fantastic 3-day stay at St Ermins visiting a show and Ronie Scotts. Great location, accomodation first class, staff fantastic and a really relaxing atmosphere. The hotel experience was realy good and everyone there should be proud of their teamwork and approach to guests. We will return!

Room Tip: Whilst our room (207) was a little small it was clean and had a nice view over the courtyard.

This hotel is a brick, mansion style building, very traditional looking, the sort of building that makes you feel confident will provide a good experience - and it does - Staff at this hotel are SO FRIENDLY - yet very professional. We had an executive king room which was an excellent size, well lit by two large windows, a very attractive aspect into the courtyard, which is flanked by well-stocked borders - very colourful, and decoratively lit at night, as was the roof terrace, which was also in view. The room was beautifully soft-furnished and large enough to contain a sofa, desk and chair, and the enormous bed, which was gloriously comfortable, yet still feel spacious. The bathroom, however, was disappointingly small.. The Lobby is quite stunning with its winding staircases, all the public rooms are spacious, eating areas attractive, restaurant staff are efficient and friendly, the continental breakfasts were more than adequate and afternoon tea a realy treat! The position of the hotel is so central - St James's park station is around the corner, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace an easy walk. Everyone was so attentive and helped to make this a wonderful stay in London we will remember for a long time.

Room Tip: The king executive room is certainly spacious, but don't expect a huge bathroom!

My first time staying in London and it was a very pleasant experience. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were swiftly met by a smartly dressed doorman in a bowler hat, who offered to take our bags. At the reception desk it was quick and simple to check in and the doorman gave us a ticket to give to the porter with our room number so he knew where to put our bags.
We were given clear directions to our room and it was nice and clean inside an a reasonable size, the bathroom was slightly small but how much time do you spend in the bathroom when on holiday?
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and always said good morning/evening etc even when just passing in the hallways. The treatment recieved from the staff was not a reflection of how much you paid to stay, as it is so often in other 4/5 star hotel. All guests were given an exceptionally high level of service.
We had room service twice once was breakfast and once was dinner. The breakfast was well presented but the portion size left something to be desired, the English breakfast was nice. Prices were as expected for room service, but £3 for 1 slice of toast, cut in half, I did think was a little bit expensive. The dinner we had was two pepperoni pizzas and two portions of chips, lovely pizza and chips had a good taste (butter, garlic and parsley). Good price for the pizza and chips £33 including the service charge.
Two nights during our stay we went to the bar for a couple of drinks, good atmosphere and very attentive staff ensuring everything was okay, the barman offered to bring my drinks to the table.
Hotel is in a very good location for the tube, St James Park station is just around the corner making travelling around London very easy.
All in all a very nice hotel and i would stay here again if i returned to London.

You brought service to new levels!
I am told that" Quality never goes out of fashion" Well, I'm sure that is why you have been in business for such a longtime.
With staff they say " Attitude determines altitude" you staff are certainly high flyers.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out we were treated with exceptional service.
Special touches were a birthday cake and card waiting for my nephew on arrival.
Although, I have been to 36 states it was my first stay in London.
You have ensured that I return!
Thank you.
