Glad you loved our beautiful grade II listed hotel and that you found us near to all the places you wished to see.
I was pleased to see that you like our wide selection of Continental breakfast items and found it plenty to start your day with.
I will pass on your lovely comments to my team and they will be pleased to read this.
Look forward to your return when you are next in London.
Booked this through a secret website - the hotel lobby is really beautiful. Our room was very compact with no view but had everything we needed and was very clean. The breakfast queue the next morning looked extremely chaotic but we had decided to eat early and missed the scrum. I have to say though that on asking the Reception staff where the hotel was located on the map of London, she really had no idea about the location! Perhaps she was new. Tried to sit and have a nice cocktail before heading off for dinner but was completely ignored by staff. All I can say really, is that the hotel was aesthetically beautiful but the service was a trifle lacking. It was ok but unlikely to return.
I am pleased that really loved our beautiful lobby area and that you found your room had everything that you needed and was very clean. My housekeeping team work really hard to ensure that the cleanliness of the hotel is to a high standard.
I was sorry to read that you felt that the service in the bar was not up to scratch and I can assure you that this is not indicative of our usual standard of service. However, I will speak to my Food & Beverage Manager to ensure that this does not happen again.
We would love you to return to the hotel for a future stay and hope we can welcome you back.
We weren't sure what to expect when we booked this hotel, but we couldn't have been happier. The hotel was beautiful, the room was spacious and the shower was amazing. We also had tea at the hotel one afternoon and it was amazing.
The location could not have been better. We walked to the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham, Westminster and London Eye. The underground was also a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again.
It is really great to see that you were really happy that you chose the St. Ermin’s Hotel for your stay in London.
Glad you loved the shower in your room and that you found it spacious also.
I see you had afternoon tea with us and found it amazing. Afternoon tea is very popular and with our tea lounge being so lovely it is a great place to relax and enjoy. We change our afternoon tea selection regularly so if you return you may have a different one to taste.
We are in an amazing location as close to all of the main attractions and in a quiet little haven of our own, so glad you loved it.
I would be a pleasure to welcome you back again when you next visit London.
Didn't realize how convenient St. Ermin's is when we booked. Close to the tube, ez walk to Buckingham Palace. Top notch service from all members of staff. Excellent full English breakfast and enjoyed afternoon tea as well.
Thank you for your top notch review.
I am so pleased that you thought our breakfast was excellent and my team provided you with fantastic service.
It makes me really happy to read that you took afternoon tea with us. We receive a lot of lovely comments regarding our Tea Lounge and how lovely it is as well as how wonderful our afternoon tea selection is. So glad you enjoyed it too. This is very popular with both guests and visitors.
I do hope you will have the opportunity of returning to London and when you do we look forward to welcoming you back.
Well located just round the corner from Buckingham palace and within walking distance of the main attractions. We were greeted by the door staff well, they unloaded our luggage and then took the car away to an off site car park, £40 per night. we were greeted very well by reception with a free glass of wine. Our room was clean and quite plush. the staff were all very helpful and 'child friendly'. The breakfast was a choice of continental or full english, I had both! We were very pleased with the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a top hotel in a great location this is worth a close look.
Thank you such much for your lovely review following your stay with us.
It makes me so happy to read that you found all of my team welcoming and friendly and yes we are a child friendly hotel. Family stays are very popular here.
I am glad you loved our wide selection of Continental and English breakfast items, everyone always comments on how much there is to choose from and that it really sets them up for their day.
Thank you for recommending us to others and I do hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you and you back to the hotel.
My partner and I were visiting London for my birthday and decided to try the St. Ermin's Hotel as we could use Marriott Reward Points there. Even before we arrived, I knew we had made a spectacular choice. The hotel was extremely accommodating from the very start, upgrading our room in advance, and arranging for a car service to meet us at Heathrow (we arrived on a late flight and didn't want to fiddle around with taxis). The hotel itself is stunning--a beautifully restored Victorian/Edwardian building with an spectacular lobby, wonder restaurant and bar, a cozy balcony where tea is served in the afternoon, and a small, but up to date fitness center. Service is superb! Everyone we encountered, from the chamber maid to management were friendly, helpful and eager to make our stay a memorable one for all the right reasons. They succeeded admirably in this.
Rooms are a bit on the small side, but beautifully decorated. The bathroom and bath accessories are top drawer and beautifully designed. The only quibble is that at times design seemed to trump utility--the bathroom could have used a second shelf and more drawer space would also have been helpful. These are mere quibbles, however. Most of the experience was marked by how attentive to details the hotel's management is. In what other hotel have you had a French Press coffee maker in the room--real coffee, with real china first thing in the morning? Breakfast was also superb with a wonderful variety of both cold and hot items, including a full English breakfast included with our room, all on a wonderful buffet.
My partner and I will definitely stay here the next time we are in London, and highly recommend it to anyone. Oh, did I mention there is a tube station around the corner, a Starbucks around the corner as well, and you are no more than a 10 minute walk from both Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. To top it off, you are probably in the safest spot in all of London as the hotel is right across the street from New Scotland Yard!
What a lovely surprise to read your review and I am so pleased that you thought of using your Marriott Reward points to stay here & that you found your upgraded room to your liking.
I am glad you loved our beautiful grade II listed building. It used to be Victorian Mansions before a hotel so the shape is quite unique for London.
I see you tried our Caxton Grill and Caxton Bar and liked them both. We do receive some lovely comments about both of these areas of the hotel and the teams that work in them. So happy that you thought they were great too.
We would love to have you stay again and very much look forward to welcoming you back.
