“I did not know it excided.”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

Our nine year old had a surprise visit to Battersea Park, as he got an award at school.(i have alway's believed in rewarding children for good hard work,)

As we did not know where to take him, I entered London On the Computer, up came Battersea Park, amongst other places, what a Park.

There is also a children's Zoo, where you can actually see the animals and also see when they get fed, there is a playground, Cafe Tiolet's.there is a little charge for the Zoo, well worth it. ,. On this day it was raining ,but he had fun and want's to return, Really lovely. We went by train which is very close to the park, it is a small walk back to the station.

Being a child myself when I am with our grandson, I cannot wait to return.

“Best park in south west London”
Reviewed 7 June 2014 via mobile

This is a multi active park with lots to do here, centrally located between to Chelsea bridge and albert bridge. That's the bridge with the lights you see in all the movies made in London.

There's a fair amount to do here, from the running track to the body's on the lake ride.
And for children you have a great active park for them spilt into sections for varied gameslike settings see saws sides etc.

There is an astro turf to place football on, although most teams actually book and play matches here, which can be fun to watch.

Also you often have the circus come here during the holiday and have paying funfair rides.

You''ll see slot of people jogging as well such us the community based friendly environment. There is also a small free fitness area, for a work out. Bowling area for planning bowls. That's just to name a few good pointers about this park.

If youre in the area it is a great time burner, to have a relaxing walk and talk.

No shops directly outside the park, you'll have to go to the main road to get any refreshment s you may want. Although there is a shop by the lake. And those ice cream bands are always parked around the park.

Enjoy

“Great London park”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

A real mix of things to see and do here. We live very near across the river and so i frequently run through the park along the Thames. In the park itself is a really good mix of sites, sceptres, walks and kids playground. At Christmas you can buy trees here and in summer ice creams! The bike rental place is great, hire a sit down bike and explore the park - a lot of family fun.

“Favourite london park”
Reviewed 15 May 2014 via mobile

This park is situated along the river and is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect for picnics or walking/jogging/cycling. The park has plenty of open space for all activities plus plenty of beautiful trees, gardens, lakes and playgrounds. Big enough to escape to nature without having to go too far from the city. I was also lucky enough to see it when covered in snow....magical! Not full of tourists, lots of locals going about their exercise or just relaxing.
