“Tursday work drinks”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 January 2013 via mobile

We were about 15 people which were consuming from 5pm to 11pm. As you can imagine we were good costumers. At some point accidently a glass fell on the floor (how very unusual for a Pub!). All we got from the waitress was evil looks and head shakes with her hands on her hips, like a grandma who would tell off a naughty boy. We apologised for her troubles but she didn't react. At 11pm on the spot she chucked us out very rudely, this being said we were not misbehaving. These incidents are a shame as the pub is actually quite nice, still I would not go back and I would not recommend it either!

“Wine like vinegar”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2012

If you would to drink expensive vinegar go here. The wine was bad bad bad and when trying to return it was "sorry no can do". Bar staff spending more time on the wrong side of the bar than the right one. The manager on the mobile having a smoke outside rather than looking after the clients. Not going back for sure.

“Poor house wine and terrible customer service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2012

The house wine here is horrible. When I told the staff this they implied that was to be expected as it was "house wine". Well done Taylor Walker on a) implementing a policy of buying terrible house wine, and b) telling customers it's their own fault if they complain. Won't be going here again.

“SO glad we stopped in for a pint and some sausages”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2012

It could be because we'd been walking from Earl's Court all the way to Victoria Station, but seeing this little authentic-looking place was exactly what we needed to perk up our day. We went in and though busy, we did find a little table in the back and ordered a couple of pints and the sausage tray and they were absolutely the best sausages we'd ever had!
