Was recommended this pub by friends. Visited it the first afternoon after our check in at our nearby hotel. Found the atmosphere very relaxing. The food and drink was great and the staff very friendly and helpful in choosing a beer. Would use at the local if I was a resident.

Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. Very close to just about anything you need! Could easily be a "local".

On a trip to London at Christmas and after a long journey to get there we were more than ready for lunch. We had passed The Three Tuns on our way to our hotel and thought how welcoming it looked, so back we strolled and we weren't disappointed. Considering the time of year and the influx of tourists/Christmas shoppers we were really lucky in getting a table straight away.
We both had fish and chips which was excellent and I even tried the Christmas beer which I enjoyed too. Everywhere was decorated for the time of year inside and out and straight away we felt the atmosphere of Christmas, very festive. It was fab!
Staff were very pleasant and we didn't wait long for our meal at all. Very efficient.
It was surprisingly good value especially for central London....to be honest we've paid more for a take away!
We will definitely go back there again, food, décor, atmosphere and staff made for a lovely start to our Christmas weekend in London. Having been to London loads of times I am surprised I've never found this little gem before. Actually thinking about it....maybe I should keep quiet and save this little pub off Oxford Street to ourselves.

Friendly pub at a junction and zebra, so spot on area. Guinness and footie, just after work was ideal, although not used to London Prices.

We went to meet friends there and went to sit in a corner only to be told that we could not bring in an eleven year old into the bar unless we were eating. Are these Victorian ways?
We then ordered drinks and a food platter totalling £38,but were told not good enough and we needed to order a main course or leave! We said we would. The manager then decided we could but we had to finish the food and drinks and leave as he would not serve us anything else!
Points to note are that a main course costs less than a platter. We were not told of this before we ordered. We were embarrassed by the manager in front of other customers and made us feel uncomfortable. The bar was far from full and there was no signage to indicate the policy.
Very poor by folk in the hospitality industry who need to thrive on word of mouth and repeats.
No doubt there will be a stereotype standard response
