Met with some friends for lunch and stumbled here, the service was good if a little aloof however given the location thid is hardly surprising. The food was excellent and with great views if the thames. The bill, when it came, wasn't too daunting either, overall I'd definitely return here.

Thank Chris P

After walking from Leicester Square on a very hot Saturday afternoon we were looking for food but thought it would be nice to sit outside when we came across The Wharfe and what an amazing find.It is like the tardis as there is a ground floor outside eating area with restaurants on two floors and an upstairs eating terrace. The waiter was very friendly, informative and attentive although maybe didn't quite listen. I asked what the fish of the day was which was a full Sea Bass (which I love) but I would have to 'clean' it myself on the plate so I said no and ordered the battered fish with new potatoes as didn't want chips. My partner had a starter of salad and I had almonds and then he had the burger. The starters were fine but when the mains came I was given the Sea Bass so I had to send it back. When my fish came it was delicious and my partner did enjoy his burger but said he'd wished he had not just settled for the plain one as it was rather dry. I then realised that my fish should have had peas with it and tartar sauce and I had neither but had nearly finished. On telling the waiter he apologised and offered complimentary coffees which we accepted. All in all an OK meal but with attention to detail could have improved but it was lovely to sit outside in the fresh air. Emmm I say that -we were not told that people were allowed to smoke which we did not like but if we had gone upstairs to the other terrace smoking was not allowed - please make your customers aware of this as we are not used to having smoke drifting across our table

We liked a perfect view to river Thames. But food was terrible and overpriced, dirty dishes and staff didn't care. Awful toilets, never more!

Very nice clean restaurant. Excellent and efficient service. Food of reasonable quality but a bit pricey for what you got.

The service was SO rude and obnoxious, we didn't even manage to get past that part to stay and eat. AVOID.
